lMy wife drew her own conclusions, and I can't blame her.

Hillary didn't care one iota for those men who died.  She didn't act as if she cared.

And you both voted for Trump whose defining characteristic is caring for other people.

The GOP is a criminal organization that should be disbanded using RICO laws

I'm now giving it a 60% chance, whereas before it was 40%. Right track/Wrong track number is too great now, to close the gap between now and NOV for the GOP

Excellent list!  Investigate and let the GOP build our campaign for 2020!

Yes, let's use Congress to tie up governace endlessly.

Now I grant you that the endless investigations during the Obama years invited this.  But tying up the White House in politically-based legal problems is not my idea of good governace.

Avoidable if the GOP had quietly, behind the scenes attempted any kind of oversight and line-drawing or acting as a co-equal branch rather than enablers. They’ve made their bed.

That doesn't mean it's in the best interest of the American public that they be made to lie in it, but I'm also convinced that people here are partisan to the point where they just don't care about that.

We have separation of powers so that Congress can be a check on the President.

It's unfortunate that that now only happens when the two are of different parties, but here we are.

Hate to break it to you, but a Dem House will have little power if the Senate stays Republican. I'll  even go as far as to say a Dem House may be a poisoned chalice...it will give Trump a scapegoat if the economy goes sour in 2019-2020. Be careful what you wish for...

Who cares... The great entertainment will be the endless investigations that will expose a conman like Trump who's spent 5 decades cultivating this phony public persona while defrauding people. Even better yet still, will be the realization that the GOP actually risked it all to defend an obvious conman like Trump for electoral gain.

The last thing Trump really wants is to lose the House, but of course some people will spin it that way. Unemployment could drop below 1% and it wouldn't save Trump in 2020 because all a Democratic Congress would do is make him short circuit even more. He is his own worst enemy.

Whether or not Trump actually colluded with Russia is irrelevant...The Dems should just go ahead and destroy his life and reputation by exposing his 5 decades of conning people. Push and prod him over the edge. I doubt a mentally unstable person like Trump would last long after being exposed as a snake oil salesman

The Senate has no control over the House choice for investigation/hearing committee topics.
Also, don't overlook that that "the (GOP) Senate will have little power, if The House goes Democratic" (for legislation).
The extreme (and wacky) conservative bills currently evolve in The House, with the Senate needing to "tone them down" to reality. With a Dem House, the two-chamber negotiated bills will be more "left," and less insane.

Yes, I remember how the Democratic House got the blame for the 2008 economy and helped out the Republicans big time that election.

Yeah, just like how the economy tanking in 2008 gave Republicans the upper hand in the 2008 elections...

BTW, the Senate has no power over the House when it comes to picking who leads their committees and what investigations they can open.

COMPLETLY AGREE.
And if there is evidence from Mueller and Dem House committee investigations, The House should impeach him, regardless if there is little chance of a Senate success for conviction (67 votes).

lMy wife drew her own conclusions, and I can't blame her.

Hillary didn't care one iota for those men who died.  She didn't act as if she cared.

LoL what a sad little tool you are. And I suppose you actually think that anyone in the Republican United Russia Party cared? The Benghazi hearings WERE the real witch hunts. One of your party's own deplorable douche bags Kevin McCarthy admitted that on national TV that they were meant to hurt Hillary's poll numbers. Your side pathetically exploiting Benghazi to benefit politically is beyond deplorable. You all lie so much that you are oblivious to the truth that it just rolls naturally off your tongue, and then of course when you are caught lying, you deflect with your typical "FAKE NEWS RIGGED WITCH HUNT LIBERAL MEDIA ELITE BUT HILLARY" BS. Can't say I'm really surprised though for a party that worships a narcissistic, sociopathic, treasonous wannabe dictator who brags about sexually assaulting women, mocks handicapped people, demeans the military service of veterans, calls neo-Nazis and white supremacists very fine people, and takes children away from their parents. It really is... sad!

I defy you to explain how a single potential investigation on that list isn't completely warranted for the good of the country rather than just political haymaking.

Its very little the prosecution can do for a sitting Prez, who has committed crimes, since the GOP aren't gonna give the dems the votes to remove Trump from power, the voters will vote Democratic in 2020, so Trump can be indicted.
