RIP. Hero to the end.

Ironic that he and Kennedy died on the same day, nine years apart.

Conservative grassroots website Free Republic have mixed reactions to McCain's death.

They wonder why McCain failed to protect his 10-point lead on Sept. 5-7, 2008 regardless of the aftermath of the 2008 economic crisis, why he did not use Sara more to aggressively campaign.

Why didn't McCain-Palin aggressively didn't attack Obama harder on ACORN, Wright, Ayers, Rezko, community lending? Why? Why did swing voters trend towards Obama despite the sluggish economy? Why?

Why did he sponsor McCain-Feingold? Why did he sponsor McCain-Kennedy?

Wow, that was quick. RIP.

Schumer will introduce legislation to rename the Russell Senate Office building after McCain....

Fine by me.

Dick Russell was a goddamn racist.

Seriously, McCain would be a much more dignified name to grace that building.

Rest in peace anyone who was prevented access to healthcare for the sort of illness which John McCain could afford top-notch medical treatment for, as a result of his policies.

NBC's presentation of their coverage of Senator McCain's passing left something to be desired. (To the point where I'm wondering, not for the first time, if maybe Trump isn't floundering in the general direction of a real problem with his constant fake news whining. Stopped clock and all that.)

Ocasio had a very good and kind statement, but like 80% of her supporters responding to it are absolute sh!tholes.

It shows you that the far-far-left has no place in American government.

God help us if the far-far-left had control of America during 9/11. They'd give America to Al Qeada and Osama!! They'd blame the 9/11 attacks on America!! (Which they did)

How long until it’s cool to say that you’re going to piss on McCain’s grave? I think it was like six weeks for Reagan.

Rest in peace anyone who was prevented access to healthcare for the sort of illness which John McCain could afford top-notch medical treatment for, as a result of his policies.

Have you forgotten McCain's vote last year that stopped the repeal of Obamacare? As I fully expected, it is the "socialist" or "burgundy" avatars on here who are dancing on the man's grave. The exact same kind of people who danced on the graves of Barbara Bush and of Charles Krauthammer earlier this year. I mean, come on. What is it with praising people's deaths?

Keep in mind, even though he received some respect from the left for his aca vote, he has been tarred as a traitor, a warmonger, and compared to Hitler by the left. One of his last tweets was a praise of Brett Kavanugh, but you can imagine the disgusting and vile responses he got from idiots on the left

Literally no one is doing that. The only one who can be seen as being offensive to his death are the one you posted, and Sanchez, a Trump Republican. Seriously, dont take a man's death to get a jab at the left, its rather disgusting.

That is not what I'm doing. I'm calling out the comments made by others. How dare you to presume that I mean any offense to McCain! And the complaints that I raise are valid ones.

Which also goes into my overall point about some of the comments made by people here. And Chief Justice Keef's comment is even more ironic given how Ocasio-Cortez, who they are a staunch supporter of, put out a very good tweet of condolences about her death.

You are blowing up a problem that doesnt exist and using it to jab at the left. That is rather disgusting. I bet you cant even quote 3 Maroon or Red avatars that made such comments on this thread.
