Just one. No more.

Mine would be,

"Whom do you think Pence would chose for VP if you resign or are removed by the Senate?"

You had a good thing going with the Apprentice and just living it big in New York. Why put yourself through all this?

I can’t think of a meaningful question for which I would get a meaningful answer, so I would just troll him.

"Have you had a full opportunity to discuss your case with your attorney and to discuss the consequences of entering a plea of guilty?"

There are some other similar good questions to ask Trump here -

What must one do in order to be Saved from Sin and gain Eternal Life in the Presence of the Lord?

You had a good thing going with the Apprentice and just living it big in New York. Why put yourself through all this?

He thought he was going to lose. At first it was just free publicity, the same as usual. Then he realized he wasn't going to flame out this time, and he decided to ride it as long as it lasted.

Then he started winning. His mix of experience with reality TV and con games was paying off. He just owned the straights who thought online fund-raising was cutting edge. (Trump has always been media-hungry, if not media savvy.)

The networks, all of them, became his willing co-conspirators. He would generate ratings and they would give him coverage. It didn't matter if it was hate-watching because of all the horrible things he said, or hate and ignorance addicts hooked on the fact that someone important was finally speaking their language.

Then the narcissism kicked in. He loved the crowds, loved the attention. There was no way he could gracefully back down. Even when it wasn't fun, he was trapped in the role.

But he had an out. He was still planning to lose. He had it all lined out: Hillary would win, but there'd be at least something like a close race. And he'd claim the Democrats had stolen it from him. He'd really won. He was the real president. Hillary is a fake! A cheat! He could milk that for the rest of his life. A permanent gravy supertanker.

And then Hillary's campaign made some bad mistakes. A lot of effort was put in on Trump's behalf, by people both more clever and less scrupulous than he was. The GOP rallied around their deplorable in chief. And the FBI threw a laptop computer on the scales. He won.

Now his ticket out was toast. He couldn't quit. He'd look like a loser! But that won't be a problem. This President job is basically just a big con anyway! He could just fake it.

But even as he was fumbling cluelessly with the levers to control the giant, clumsy machine he'd been put in control of, there were these pesky investigations. Well, Trump was the big cheese now. He knew how to handle stuff like this - he'd seen movies! He was going to shut this stuff down. Nip it in the bud.

That... didn't work. At all. Not because he was terrible at every aspect of being President. That was unthinkable. He'd done everything right, but it hadn't worked because they were out to get him. You know. Them.

They are powerful, shadowy (and not so shadowy) figures. And they're out for his blood. If he quits now, he'll be a loser. He won't get his regular hits of ego-boosting. (And his tolerance has gotten very high.) And just as bad, he'll lose his only protection against them. They'll take his money, throw him in jail, never rest until they've ruined and destroyed him. After all, that's what he would do if they were him.

So now Trump has the tiger by the tail. And he'll hold on until he dies or it does.

I would ask him to please consider resignation, because no one will expect it and it'll rob his "haters" a change to see him harangued in impeachment.

He may not be a great person, but I think he tried to do some good and got duped by a lot of people because he's old and not fully there mentally.
