Yeah sure, the Parkland survivors should be listened to on gun violence(not that they should be drafting policy, just that their concerns are relevant). But Pelosi is an unrelated issue, and here it's essentially a random teenager's opinion on Pelosi-except he happens to be famous for something unrelated. It'd be like if the media paid attention when some Atlas poster made an anti-Pelosi thread. I don't hate Hogg, and it's awful when people target the survivors with personal attacks, but that doesn't mean their views are more valuable than everyone else's on everything.

Parkland Survivors are personally attacked because they entered the partisan political fray.  They have opted to play a big kids game.  Parsonal attacks are part of that.  If you don't want to get tackled or blocked hard, don't play tackle football.

Randomly attacking people for things totally unrelated to anything they're saying isn't justifiable, in any case.

Hogg's a part of the Commentariat now.  People care what he thinks, and he's loving every minute of it.  He craves attention and he gets it.

When I was young, I was part of my local political scene, and part of intraparty politics as well.  I got into screaming matches with leaders, and I had real, live enemies.  That's what happens when you play a big kids' game.  It's time for these young folks to decide if they want to be twits or adults.  Adults take the heat, and dish it out a bit.  That's the one thing I'll say about Hogg; he's not a super crybaby when he's attacked.  He gets that part of it.

Okay, then what is your point in this?

I don't get the Hogg hate at all. You guys have quite a bone to pick with him for some reason.

I mean, everything he said is correct. Pelosi is old, and the Rs have had a less hierarchical structure when it comes to government. While I dont think he is the right messenger, he is correct when he says the D leadership is rather old.

The only reason I personally dont want Pelosi to leave is that her likely replacement would suck, but if we get someone like Lee, then I would urge her to step aside.

Also, I find it funny that many posters who have argued to get rid of Pelosi for the exact same reasons that hogg has presented are now suddenly against it. At least keep some consistency, guys.

Don't get how the statement is wrong. Pelosi is a well known loser and narcissist clinging to power by raising the corporate dough.
