Not all of them are bad. Deciding 90%+ of cases via plea bargains and using the threat of maximum fines and prison time to force people to cop to crimes they may not have committed is pretty evil. But, again, the idea in general is useful.

Plus, I'm not sure if our justice system could handle a situation where all cases go to trial. Especially since it's atrophied and practically none go to trial.

Nah, Cisneros will still win and Kim is an overrated candidate.  This was a pretty widely discredited claim by a woman who was pretty clearly making a false allegation at the behest of Thorburn’s campaign.  I doubt it’ll be an effective line of attack tbh.

The allegations against Cisneros are a non-story, and have been fully discredited. If Kim runs on them, the Cisneros can technically sue for defamation. But Kim is a rather poor candidate, and Im pretty sure we have already gotten polling showing her losing.
