Long rant from Mr. Fake News, whining that people are giving his cult exactly the respect it deserves, starting here:

Looks like the non-cultist majority of Americans and our institutions are definitely on the right track.

Long rant via Twitter this morning, apparently trigger by the McGahn story yesterday. Starting here:

For a man with nothing to hide (except his tax returns) he seems quite upset with an investigation run by a Republican appointee (who is himself a Republican and conservative), overseen by his own appointee, conducted by the agency that handed him the election at the last moment.

Wow, he really doesn't think these through.

He's just stated that the only reason he's President is due to gross incompetence from the Clinton Campaign.

He's seems to be talking about an interview on Fox with conspiracy theorist  Paul Sperry, who is trying to generate confusion between the total number of emails on the very disgraced Weiner's computer, and the number of Clinton-relevant emails on said computer.

It is, of course, a desperate attempt at distraction.

In the last 24 hours, the illegitimate, unfit, and apparently insane President of the United States has tweeted:

An anonymously-sourced conspiracy theory from The Daily Caller that China hacked Hillary Clinton's private email server.

That no one should believe anonymous sources.

Retweeted a Tucker Carlson (who found the Daily Caller... gee, I wonder where Trump is getting his "news" these days) tweet accusing "the Obama people" of spying on his campaign, and suggesting it might be acceptable for him to do this to others.

Claimed that holding primaries were "Big Election Wins".

Went on a long rant justifying his unilateral decision to cancel military exercises, and touting his great relationships with Kim Jong Un (who he just refused to hold talks with) and President Xi (who he just accused on hacking Clinton's private email account).

Accused Google of being biased against him as part of his ongoing campaign against media critical of him as Enemies of the People. (To be fair, they probably are - as is anyone with even a little interest in good government or human decency.)

Anyone who continues to support this man as President has failed as a citizen of the United States, and as a human being.

More ranting in the early hours of this morning, culminating in this garbage:

Trump is truly an amazing example of projection in action. If he were not in a position of power, this would be merely sad. As the theoretical leader of a democratic nation, Trump is simultaneously terrifying and depressing. No one should support this.

Is there some reason why he refers to himself in the third person in some of his tweets?

He's quoting something there.

I've noticed that Trump often refers to himself in third person, on Twitter and in speeches. "Nobody is better at building walls than Trump", he said in his crapy annoucement speech of 2015. The dude has likely an obsession with his name as part of his narcissistic personality disorder.

Probably? Dude, that's been ongoing obvious staple since the 1980s. I remember I think in the late eighties early nineties Doonesbury did a parody of Trump that he was going to start his own game show where contestants would see how many times they can say Trump in 30 seconds. Naming everything and anything in his business after himself as an extension of his egomania and narcissism has been a subjective National consensus for literally over 35 years.

Not disagreeing with you, just saying there's no probably about it.

Truly, Trump could be a veritable American Saparmurat Niyazov.

The treacherous crooks seems upset he got caught lying. I guess he was hoping to string the Canadians along the same way he's strung along so many investors over the years.

Does anyone remember our nation's stance on criminals who take hostages and threaten them?

Fascist swine still trying to legally shut down dissent.

What's funny about this one, assuming he's talking about Woodward there, is that he's on tape telling Woodward that he thought Woodward was always fair.

In the long run, I don't think Trump would really like to make it easier for people to sue someone for saying nasty things about them. Wink

Of course he would. He thinks laws only apply to other people.

Classic Trump - take sole credit for anything perceived as positive, and throw insults and blames others for anything negative.

Presumably he expects the mid-terms to go as well for his party as Pearl Harbor did for the US.

I think what we're seeing is that since Trump lacks the wit to come up with insults more complex than those of a not-particularly-bright grade schooler, he takes criticism he's heard directed at himself (probably when obsessive watching cable news) and goes 'yeah, you'.

Future psychology reference works will have a picture of President Trump next to the definition of 'projection'.

Giving baseball advice here.

That's a bit out of left field for him.

This is surprisingly high-quality analysis of baseball tactics

Not really. It's just the standard Trump approach to everything. Always push things as hard as you can. If you get to the finish line first (or at all) take personal credit for everything. If things break and you fail, then walk away and blame someone else.

When you start out with the better part of a billion in a society that doesn't put rich people in jail and have a global population to find new suckers in it works. Until it doesn't. (Remember, Trump was so "successful" as a billionaire businessman that he was reduced to hawking bottled water and acting on a reality tv show.)

Well, he's not calling anyone who reports critically on him or his regime "Enemy of the People".

We need to stop letting them get away with the gaslighting.

The Republican Party are the 21st Century American equivalent of the Nazis. Next week will be our last best chance to stop them.

Sooo... Deranged Donny appears to be complaining that the media are focusing on how he led the party to a result "better than other sitting Presidents" rather than a (expected, not epic) 2 seat gain in the Senate. That seems stupid and illogical, even in comparison to the sewer-level bar of his past comments.

Obviously this should be Adam Schiff.  Typo or deliberate?

It really could be either. If deliberate, it's actually pretty clever. Probably his only other creative disparaging nickname other than "Low Energy Jeb."

The clever part is Dictator Don's attempt at normalizing his unlawful and unconstitutional appointment (itself part of an illegal attempt to obstruct justice) while simultaneously discrediting the perfectly legal investigation into his crimes.

The latest tantrum from the person who is supposed to be President of the United States:

It would appear someone pointed out to him that he just put his head in a noose.

LOL, the orange clown just retweeted this and several other crazy stuff from deplorable fan accounts. This dude is supposed to be prez, just to remember.

He needs to go. This is inexcusable. This is beyond political disagreements. Our nation cannot survive an entire political party and 40%+ of the population allowing such behavior. That the GOP refuses to act against him will forever stain them in future history.

Funny is that Rosenstein is also in the picture that accuses his opponents of TREASON. Same with Obama. Was there ever a prez who accused another one of treason?

Jefferson (before he was President) accused Washington of treason over the Jay Treaty.

John Tyler joined the Confederate Congress and could certainly have been accused of treason, although I don't know if he ever was.

There might be other examples.

So, no other examples of sitting Presidents accusing their political opposition of treason. And certainly not in the last two centuries.

The reminder that is was a grave mistake to leave Confederate leadership unhanged is certainly timely though.

Demand for government handouts to cover his Trump Tower residents past due rent payments, combined with nostalgia for Pink Floyd? Or the panicked ravings of a demented loon?
