Is there some reason why he refers to himself in the third person in some of his tweets?

He's quoting something there.

The heck is he talking about here.

My closest guess is that he's saying the video where he says he fired Comey because of Russia was edited or taken out of context or something?

Also, he attacked Carl Bernstein last night, wtf

Giving baseball advice here.

That's a bit out of left field for him.

Well.. he's spot on about this. Did you watch the game?

Nope. But the advice is terrible in general. Obviously hindsight is 20/20 in a situation where it didn't work out.

Why's the advice terrible? If you have a pitcher that is dealing and a bullpen that is coming off of an 18 inning game the night before, you should stick with your starter.

If he wants to start Hill in a possible game 7, which is only 3 days rest, he can't wear him out tonight. From that perspective it makes sense to take him out in the 7th with a 4 run lead that's probably safe. If he had him throw a complete game shutout and then got dominated in game 7, I guarantee you he would be criticized for that. In any case, I just thought it was random that he's giving sports advice all of a sudden.

That's all true but IMO you have to focus on winning the game tonight. Already being down 2-1 in the series and knowing that you have to go back to Boston places even more importance on tonight's game, which was a must win IMO.

Well, in 2016, Joe Maddon threw everything at winning each game in the WS and got criticized for it because his closer faltered in game 7 from overuse. :shrugs:

Going down 3-1 is far worse than any starting pitching inconvenience in a potential Game 7.

Yeah I don't think he would have pulled him if the cost/benefit analysis pointed to a loss tonight. Smiley

What are the chances Trump wrote this tweet himself?

Low.

A staffer had to have written this. If this was actually written by him it somehow would qualify as his most baffling tweet.

I think it's written by him. He posted a similar one about Stacey Abrams. I don't think it's sarcastic, but likely strategic. If the staff even posts anymore, it's the boiler plate 'here's what Trump did today' stuff. He probably doesn't put all those videos together himself.

I don't even know how it's harder to "join" him. When I read that, I checked and the follow button for his profile was there, same place as anyone else. I refuse to follow him, even though I have him bookmarked.

Maybe he's getting suggested as someone to follow less often? If so, good.

Other than the last month of the campaign when the staff took over his twitter, I'm pretty sure this is the most he tweeted in a weekend. There was a 5 minute span yesterday where he retweeted about 10 things. All nonsense/hate of course.

3 hours later and he still hasn't finished that sentence.

Took him 8 hours but he finally finished that thought.

He really went on a spree last night with the retweets (20+?) and then maybe another dozen this morning of his own.

He's expressed some mild disappointment in the past, but he went after Fox hard yesterday.

Whenever I click the "new" button on this thread, it does not bring me to the first post I haven't seen. Rather it brings to an earlier post (always to a post with an embedded tweet) that is sometimes from more than a week ago, and that I have seen multiple times since "new" keeps bringing me to it. Does this happen to anyone else??

Where is the "new" button? Could I have a screenshot? It doesn't appear on my computer.

Here's what I see,

My guess is that we recognize Tweets written by staffers by their proper capitalization?

I don't think his staff posts for him on his personal anymore (on @POTUS they do). The videos he puts out sometimes are prepared though.

No way to know for sure, but everything on there these days reads like him to me.

I now count 22 tweets like that (most of which are retweets) about Mark Levin supposedly destroying Ed Henry on Fox and Friends. Several are profanity laden.

I think that might be only the 2nd time he's cursed in a tweet since running (not counting retweets).

He retweeted this

In the video, Rubio muses that Trump's on camera asks of China and Ukraine weren't serious and he was just trying to rile up the press.
