Cue the Democrats yelling RUSSIANS! and the Republicans yelling VOTER FRAUD! with whichever side is found to be more incorrect immediately withdrawing their calls for election security reform.

There's an effort underway to switch us to paper ballots, possibly by this November: https://www.wabe.org/paper-ballots-in-georgia-by-november-look-to-virginia/.  I'm all for it.

Paper ballots and voter ID will solve this
Paper ballots: yes
voter ID: no, it hasn't been proven to work, and encourages voter suppression.

Paper ballots and voter ID will solve this

GA has had voter ID in place for 14 years partially; 10 years fully. We were one of the first states to do it.

I still maintain that I don't think it's a coincidence that the state went from a Democratic bastion to a Republican majority virtually overnight after DREs were adopted. All the polls showed Democrats winning by near double-digits in 2002 up through Election Day and then suddenly the GOP wins by 5...nah.

They seriously need to fix this before November. They owe it to their people to at least hold elections people can be semi-confident in. It's the bare minimum, which Kemp evidently can't even do.

Virginia switched out all its machines to newer, more secure models even closer to their election(s), so Kemp's whining about it being an "absolute disaster" is bs. Sure, it could be if Georgia's elections people are incompetent, but at the same time, they have allowed this to go on long enough. The party that is constantly screaming about election integrity ought to put its money where its mouth is for once.

Don't forget we have a president who openly encouraged his supporters to commit voter fraud.

you know the ongoing federal lawsuit against the SoS office that's demanding Georgia use only paper ballots this November? do you know Brian Kemp's lawyer?

And you can't even look at the official 2018 primary turnout data for comparison because that data is apparently compromised (or involved/complicit) too:

They show that there are 3941 registered voters in the precinct (as opposed to 276 actual).

Also worth noting that this precinct didn't exist prior to 2016, but in that race:

Mud Creek
Code:
2073 Trump     84.40%
322         Clinton    13.11%
61         Johnson   2.49%
2,456        Total

And considering that it's unlikely thousands of people de-registered, died or moved out of the area, that would mean close to 2,000 fake votes were cast in this one precinct in 2016 alone.

Diebold electronic voting machines have been known to be a big problem for a very long time, and Georgia still has them after 16 years. They are unreliable, and there is no paper trail when things go wrong (or right depending on your view).

I'll put the odds that this *isn't* a data artifact, and represents genuine bogus voting, at about .1%.
