Trump is the kind of candidate who will culturally appeal to environments where primitive macho values are prevalent. So he naturally appeals to the white working class. But macho values are also prevalent in many poor black neighbourhoods. So if it wasn't for the more or less overt racism of Trump and the allegiance between the black community and democrats, Trump would probably fare pretty well with the black electorate. Democrats certainly shouldn't take the black vote for granted.

I'd think that black religious leaders would be angry at Trump for "breaking up families". They're probably saying, "Republicans only believe in family values for whites."
