Puerto Rico announced, and put it in an official report, that the death toll in Hurricane Maria was 1,427. The official number remains at 64, however it will be increased after a report by George Washington University arrives. 

And it took almost a year, but power has been restored to everyone (except for 25 people). It took them way longer than they should've on that.

AHA! See, I told you guys.

Over 64 people, a lot of them elderly, died in my hometown alone.

The sad thing is, I doubt this will really get much play in the media as the storm has long passed and Trump used the low "official" count at the time to convince people he did more than enough, which isn't true but knowing America, it just won't matter at this point.
