Does Representative Joseph P Kennedy III, member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Massachusetts since 2013, have what it takes to get elected President of the United States some day?

Please discuss.

OK, I will reply to my own  question, since nobody else seems interested.

I believe that Joseph P Kennedy III does have the potential to become President, or at least to become the Democratic nominee at some future date.

He has a famous name and an attractive family.

He is well educated, Stanford, management science and engineering, Harvard, law.

Served in the Peace Corps.

Fluent in Spanish.

He is highly thought of by his peers in the House and Senate, as he was chosen to give the Democratic response to the State of the Union address in  January 2018.

Member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Massachusetts since 2013.

His next step will be to win a U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts, and on from there.

So, Joseph P Kennedy III is definitely someone to watch.

As the people with memories of JFK and Bobby gradually make up less and less of the electorate, the Kennedy name has less and less power. I can't imagine the Democratic parties young activists being particularly enthused by tales of Camelot.

The US is notoriously anti-ginger. Americans even go as far as to claim that gingers don’t have souls (racism at its worst).

He’ll never win because of it.

No, but I wouldn't be surprised if he already has Markey's seat locked down.

I remember hearing him on Ezra Klein's show a while back, after his response to the SOTU. He was a mess, especially after Klein asked him about his stance on marijuana legalization. Not much RFK in him.

That South Park episode did a major disservice to the ginger community. Clearly people who say that (jokingly or not) did not watch the whole episode either, because the point of the episode was to make a point against prejudice.

Kennedy coasts by on his good looks, famous name and bottomless pockets. He is no intellectual heavyweight, and is arguably a bit conservative for a state like Massachusetts.

Maybe.
I wouldn't say a definite "no."
The characteristics you list are "likable" and worthy for The Office.

He has the name, but so does George P. Bush.

George P. Bush is more likely to get elected then Kennedy is, as being Latino can only help him in November (though it might hurt him in a GOP Primary). Kennedy's last name doesn't help him enough, to cover for the fact that he isn't far enough to the left to win a Democratic primary...that said he could be Speaker of the House someday.
