Remember when some thought this would be competitive at the beginning of the cycle?

I’ll never understand the appeal of people like Angus King, but whatever. Anyway, not good for Mills to be underperforming King by 27 points.

I feel the independent label gives people a false impression of a maverick who walks to the beat of his own drum.

Why are Democrats running a candidate? King is just safe like the Bern is.

Because King is not progressive on...basically anything Maine Democrats care about.

Just seems like a waste of resources. Forget Maine, send the money and manpower to Indiana, Missouri, Florida, etc.

King has kept his corruption more under wraps so he should be cruising to victory.

"Okay, Zak, move to Indiana."

You act like the the national Democratic Party is going to be helping Ringelstein. Rest assured, he's getting no help from anyone outside of his most committed supporters.

Pretty sure that's evident from the poll.

Do Maine Democrats care about anything other than losing?

Ringelstein is a wacky nobody (he actually went to college with my fiance, who has a rather strongly negative personal opinion). The Democrats can't stop otherwise eligible candidates from running on their line.
