It's always nice for Democrats to score some leverage in a state like Oklahoma, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't remiss that it's OK and not like, Nebraska or Alabama or something. Republicans will probably maintain their super-majority, and in terms of redistricting, Oklahoma doesn't have a lot to offer. Meanwhile, a Democratic governor might be able to squeeze an extra seat out of Alabama and in Nebraska, they could at least protect the one competitive seat in the state (and prevent the GOP from getting rid of the EVs-by-CD law). Not to mention all the other super important states where Democrats are only competitive at best. Florida could use a Democratic governor wayyyyy more, considering how important the state is to national Democrats.

Is there a number I can call to make a deal with the devil?
