GOV
Pritzker 39
Rauner 26
McCann 10
Jackson 1
Undecided 23

McCann candidacy seems to draw more from Rauner than Pritzker, unsurprisingly.

Ratings
Trump 38/55
Rauner 27/62
Pritzker 29/44

Love the fact that we are getting a lot of polls on the obviously likely D race in IL. How great. Its not like there are other states like OH, NH, MD, NV, SD, AZ, SC, TN that I would love to be reading right now. How fun. /s

Wow, it takes talent to be less popular than Trump in a blue state. Anyway, bye Rauner.

IL along with NM are the bellweathers, the races should of been close, like 5 points; however they appear to be blowouts, it looks like the blue wave, that was expected, is now in full formation

I'm sure a pollster called "Illinois Public Opinion" would rather be polling a state like Arizona or New Hampshire.

Bruce Rauner sincerely apologizes to you for supporting a woman's right to an abortion.

Fortunately, Bruce Rauner doesn’t need the votes of those people or, even worse, angry Trump supporting cultists to win reelection, right? Wink

Yeah, but many national pollsters have also been doing IL, TX, MI, WI, races that are good to know, but at this point we are over saturated on polls from these states. We have 1 poll from AZ( and, like, 10 polls for the senate race), 2-3 from GA, 1 from SD, none from SC, no spotlight on any of these rather competitive states.

Pritzker still seems a lock, but I really hope he doesn't get a majority. Don't want him fooling anyone into thinking he has a mandate.

He needs the votes of Republicans, pro-choice and pro-life alike.  The former make up about 1/4 of Republicans and, whether or not it's out in the open or implied, you have always seemed to mock any Republican who happens to have a different opinion on ONE issue as "elitist" or sarcastically "sensible."  I find it ridiculous.

But in the end, this.  Shame ... IL gets what it deserves, I guess.

I'll forever be bitter that Dems nominated Pritzker and deprived us of a potential 25+ point thrashing.

I'm also worried that pieces of sh**t Pritzker and Menendez will drag down House Dems. There's a lot of competitive races in these two states.

It'll probably still be a thrashing considering Rauner is at a whopping... 26% of the vote in this poll AS THE INCUMBENT and I suspect undecideds have a stronger opinion about Rauner than they do about Pritzker.

It was very enlightening to hear muon2 (whom I had the pleasure to meet last weekend!) talk about this situation.  Rauner certainly made mistakes and should have compromised more/chosen his battles better; I also think he has way too much pride.  But scum?  RELIEF?!  LOL, Pritzker will not "relieve" anything.  He'll raise Illinois' sky-high taxes even more.  Population decline will continue.  Illinois pretty clearly needed its governing philosophy to move right when it came to the budget, and that is what Rauner tried.  He certainly could have gone about it better, but in the end his reward was getting kicked out of office for more of the same.  Again, IL deserves what it gets.

His backing and support for the Janus case will always make him a scumbag. Illinois needs a governor that respects Labor.

I'd I were Governor of Illinois... I would open the gates and be bold..

Property taxes abolished and deregulate everything feasible and let the corporate world the state is open for business.

Selling point : we will be here in a century. Miami and Phoenix may not be.
