If they show the pictures like that in the polls, Penslar would have like a thirty point lead in the primary lol.

Bagel likes to post racist things. He could have at least managed to spell Pensler correctly considering that it was right there in the screenshot.

Bagel: Becoming racist to own the racists.

Anyway, since the race seems like a lost cause at this point, I'd prefer James. He has a better shot at pulling the upset and even a respectable loss can function as a trial run for a later office (á la Romney '94 or Obama '00). He strikes me as a natural leader and excellent campaigner, and I typically prefer young candidates who bring fresher ideas. Pensler would be a waste of ballot space.

Awesome, a primary battle for a race the GOP has roughly zero chance of winning.

I fail to see what's racist about what Bagel posted. He's 100% correct that GOP primary voters would vote for Pensler bigly if they saw he was white and James is black.

Crazy how many GOP primary voters in Michigan don't own a TV or computer.

James has been running the hellfire missile ad all over the state where he stars prominently. Those undecided voters will probably break 3-to-1 for Pensler on Election Day. Meanwhile Pensler has doubled down on comparing him to Jesse Jackson and claiming he benefitted from affirmative action. Those ads are conveniently not online so they can’t be shared, mocked, and made viral.

My point exactly. As a black person myself, I don't see any problem with what he posted.

You'd think the well-funded and well-connected James campaign would do something about that. Maybe they're worried the ads are effective.

James is going to win. He’s a much better candidate than Pensler and I think Rs know they don’t really have a shot at this race. They’d rather give a young gun a chance to shine imo (my parents are big GOP supporters in Michigan and heavily support James, as do most of the connected folks in the Michigan GOP from what I hear). Anyway, doesn’t matter, Oakland and Washtenaw will sink either of them statewide even if James does better in Wayne or Pensler does better in Kent relative to a regular R.

James is going to win with the Trump endorsement.

I agree. After all he is endorsed by the establishment, including by Marco Rubio and even by Donald Trump, by the way.

Won’t matter because neither of them are going to win in November.

The primary? Stabenaw will win I’ve said it many times lol. It’s kind of weird to focus on one user though.

I remember when you said James was an extremely strong candidate who would make this close. Yeah, no.

He is a strong candidate. And I definitely never implied he had a reasonable chance at winning lol. I do think he will make it closer than 95% of this forum thinks though, especially given the environment. I think he will lose by 6-8 in the end, barring some scandal. In any case, we won’t know for over three months so not much point in discussing it with you is there xD
