Delaware: Three year terms, via Legislature
Kentucky: Four year terms, via Electoral College

Pennsylvania: Three year terms, via Popular Vote
New York:  Three year terms, via Popular Vote

Maryland: Yearly, via Legislature
New Jersey: Yearly, via Legislature
Connecticut: Yearly, via Legislature
Rhode Island: Yearly, via Legislature

Turn: The 1791 Governor elections will be roleplayed during five days of this turn, until Monday afternoon. The elections are meant to be run on autopilot, so this thread is in case you want to do extra efforts, run for Governor yourself (or sink another player running for Governor), or even sit out elections to the benefit of other factions.

Georgia: Chosen by State Legislature
Virginia: Chosen by State Legislature
Pennsylvania: Chosen via Popular Vote

Maryland: Chosen by State Legislature

Pennsylvania:

Hugh Henry Brackenridge (RC): 48%
Hamiltonian Candidate: 23%
Whig Candidate: 18%
William Maclay (PA): 8%
Frederick Muhlenberg (IND): 3%

Radicals regain Pennsylvania in a landslide

Georgia:

Patriot supermajority at Legislature, James Gunn elected

Virginia:

DR's hold Governorship with legislative majority, Patriots make gains

Maryland:

Hamiltonians narrowly hold Governorship and legislative plurality due to vote splitting,
Patriots make gains but are contained by strong DR campaign

New Jersey:

Whigs win first seats in New Jersey,
Hamiltonians keep majority and Governor

Connecticut:

Hamiltonians fend off enemy offensive,
maintain Connecticut supermajority


Rhode Island:

Whigs narrowly retain Governorship after DR gains,
Hamiltonians win plurality at the Legislature

New Hampshire:

John Gilman elected, Whigs gain legislative majority,
Hamiltonians displace DR's as second strongest party

Massachusetts:

Extremely divided field results in compromise Republican hold

Delaware:

Federalists hold Governorship amidst Whig losses, legislative gains for Centre

Maryland:

Surprise and narrow Republican win due to anti-Federalist legislators!

New Jersey:

Federalists hold the line, regain a handful of seats

Connecticut:

Federalists sail ahead with continued supermajority

Rhode Island:

Federalists score gains, narrowly pick up the Governor
