Also not on our list, but due to Hurricane Florence, Marshall/South Carolina has been officially canceled, and Georgia has moved their game against Middle Tennessee from 7:15 PM to 12 noon.

Had to go with the alma mater even though it's objectively less likely than 50-50 that we win in South Bend.

Notre Dame's favored, but I'd say this week and next week are both trap games for the Fighting Irish, given the following two weeks they face Stanford at home and Virginia Tech on the road.

Not in the contest, but upset alert: Troy (on the road) leads Nebraska 17-7 at the half.

Maryland needs to quit beating Texas to start the season.  It just gives fans fake hope

Potential upset going on at Camp Randall Stadium. BYU leads #6 Wisconsin 21-14 with just over about three minutes left in the third quarter. No one picked Wisconsin to win this game, if I remember correctly...

Rutgers is just horrible. But Kansas is going to go 0-7 in Big Twelve play anyways.

Maryland needs to quit beating Texas to start the season.  It just gives fans fake hope

Maryland can still beat Rutgers and maybe Iowa and Illinois...

Or beating Texas needs to stop being considered an achievement of any sort. Even Kansas beat them last year.

There's no way Kansas can do that two years in a row.

That was two years ago. That's what got Charlie Strong fired.

The fact that USC-Texas this year is treated as a big primetime game is more proof that you are right about the achievement thing.

Not saying Maryland can't be mediocre and for those saying beating Texas is no great feat, they're right, it merely creates the illusion that you beat a great program.  It's kind of like beating Nebraska or Florida St. or Arkansas these days.

Speaking of Arkansas, they outgained North Texas 140 to 106 in the first half, and trail 34-10.

If Ohio State loses to TCU this week as well, the Big Ten is locked out of the Playoff, and we're only in Week Three!

Ole Miss throws a 75 yd TD on the first play against Bama.  They shouldn't have done that, they'll just make Bama mad.

A 1 loss Big 10 champ makes the playoff 100%.

On the subject of that game, my pick is TCU 31-20. Its not going to happen, but it SHOULD happen. Tonight, TCU is America's Team.

I don't think the Big Ten champ will have one loss...if Ohio State and Wisconsin both lose this week.

That puts a major blow in the SEC's chances of getting two teams into the playoff...though I suppose either Georgia (if they beat Alabama or an unbeaten LSU in the SEC Championship Game) or LSU could get there...
