Is it just me, or is the 1184AZ case a huge own goal?

Essentially, the suit is suggesting that AS, a then-PuP member, did not have a say in the merger. But that implies that every registration into PUP must go through a majority vote, which it clearly did not.

It seems to me that the plaintiff does not have standing, and that the main grievance is that of Labor members whose registrations were changed without their consent.

Amicus brief to this effect will follow.

1.Standing does not exist in Atlasia and hasn't in some time.
2. This case is not about the merits of the labor-pup merger but about upholding the law and ensuring that we do not let illegal actions happen.
3. At the heart of this case is the issue of whether the RG has the power to change a persons partisan registration without their consent.

I may have misread in Discord (or Yankee may have just been wrong), but I think standing did make a comeback immediately after the reset, but was thrown out the window once again!

Yes, though I am pretty sure Spade dissented, I Think Marokai and Opebo joined to get rid of standing.

However the reset would have wiped out that precedent.

So unless there has been a subsequent case where standing was dispensed with, it exists.

I thought the reset was only legislative and not judicial.

How could it not be both. The Constitution was replaced?
