Ready for something different? Well, I am your guy!

What do I believe?

I am an economic socialist but believe largely in freedom of the individual when it comes to social issues.
1. Tax payer provided college education for all. Education is the most important thing society could do for its population as it gives people the chance to compete on equal ground.
2. An end to all homelessness with government estates. I already put a bill up in my short term as commons member earlier this month for ending homelessness. No one should freeze out in the cold! It's the sane and moral thing to do within my opinion. I ask you for one second that We wouldn't want to do that to a dog and we sure as hell shouldn't do that to our follow human beings.
3. I'll fight to decriminalize and even legalize most drugs. Why on gods earth should these people be thrown in prison with harden criminals? It seems counter protective and quite frankly is turning Fremont into a police state. Seems like we should be investing in treatment centers and education...
4. I'll fight for LBGT rights! These people deserve to be protected by the government of Fremont and I'll fight until my dying breath to make sure they're treated with respect. Transgender people will have every right cis people currently have and will never have to fear for who they're.
5. I'll end bear and wolf hunting and expand nature reserves. We're currently in the 6th great extinctions events in our planets history and it's time to wake up to the reality that we're killing off the wild life. We can't keep heading down this street and expect not to be effected personally one day. I'll go one further and fight for a bill to fund animal breeding programs to help increase population of at risk animals.
6. Set Fremont towards 100% renewable or nuclear energy(possibly fusion!). I already released a bill during the final day of my short term that would amend the current green energy policies and would add teeth to it. My goal would be to slowly move the commonwealth towards 100% one day.
7. Increase funding for science by 10% within my first full term. I want Fremont to be the leader of this nation in science. Very few jobs have shown to create more upward mobility than tech or science for the avg person on the street.
8. The best infrastructure on this earth!
9. Fresh and clean air, food and water for all
10. Strengthen anti-trust enforcement and consumer protections. Tired of the big corporations screwing over the little guy! We're not going to take it anymore...
11. Stronger unions and bargaining rights that will allow for the workers to work together to get a bigger piece of the pie.

I want to make fremont the most wealthy and most advance commonwealth in this nation...We have a small population but I truly believe in this commonwealth and when it puts its energy towards what's right we can do the impossible. This is something the right wing simply doesn't believe in and that is hurting everyone. So friends, I ask for your consideration and vote in July...Thank you and good night.

Thank you,

Also, as for point 7, I'd like to greatly expand government funding for science and even start a fremont space program and weather service. I didn't see this for Fremont or Atlastia and it breaks my heart.

I love these things and want to see our children have the chance to grow up to be professionals in these fields. High paying jobs that will allow fremont to lead in science.

This is part of the plan to make fremont the most advance part of Atlastia.

This sounds like a great plan, though from what I can tell, all of the National Weather Service's offices (all 100+ of them, quite a few of which operate in Fremont) are still in existence, along with the NWS's Western Region HQ. Tongue

A weather service office would be redundant. Either convince Nyman to expand the NWS or have a regional government provide funds for NWS.

These offices are already in existence, and provide a great resource to their local areas: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Weather_Service_Weather_Forecast_Offices?wprov=sfla1.

Yeah I know given I may be working for one in a few years. That doesn’t mean we can’t provided more funding for them of course.

Oh, of course. I misunderstood what you said as meaning that the offices do not exist anymore in game Cheesy

Also, if everything goes to plan, I might just be working in one in a few years also, lol

Do they exist in the game? I am not talking about the united states but Fremont.

If they do then they need more funding. Wink I'd also love more funding for space exploration.

I am listening and if I win I'll set up an office in order to interact with you. I want to advance bills that are based on left wing ideas that you want to see. My goal is bigger pay checks for the workers that do the work and an fairer market place for the little guy.

How would you feel about a Fremont pro-union and enhanced anti-trust law? This would strengthen the power of the unions, enhance bargaining rights for the workers and greatly crack down on corporations buying out everything. Right now the rich are taking 80% of the wealth and it is destroying our middle class. Is this a good idea?
