Trump isn't a puppet- he's just a chameleon, a panderer and utterly spineless. I'd call him a cuck if I was an alt-right boy.
I think it's pretty clear- whenever he's surrounded by people like Haley, Pence and McMaster, he behaves and has a fairly mainstream Republican foreign policy. He doesn't really run the show. But when he's standing near an "alpha" like Putin, he turns around completely to gain the cool kid's favour and is willing to attack his own country and support a hostile enemy of he must. But no, I believe he's not involved in any conspiracy.

He isn't a puppet, he is a willing accomplice and this was obvious to anyone who was paying attention before the election.

Anyway, Trump doesn't even anger me anymore. It is McConnell and Ryan, they have the power to put an end to this and yet put party and policy goals over country.

There is a special place in hell for those two.

Wow.
We need to send the Traitor-In-Chief to more of these international summits.
A meeting with Kim Jung-Un, another with Putin, and "POOF" all is perfect. Amazing.
I wonder if his cultists will swallow this bulls**t?

Perhaps we can finally put to bed the notion of the Republican Party as the party this nation most entrusts with our national security, now that it's no longer true.  This is the moment the Democratic Party can finally step up to the plate after fifty years, and reclaim our rightful place as the guarantors of this nation's national security.

The problem is that the average Republican voter has become so unhinged that even party leaders cant talk sense into them. The GOP has been endlessly triggered by Obama winning in 2008 and theyre still being triggered about it nearly 10 years later. The base of the party is borderline mentally ill

Whether one believes in the collusion theory or not, it’s utterly unconscionable for the Commander in Chief to elevate the words of a former KGB goon and autocrat to an equal footing with our intelligence agencies who defend this country.

Who cares about the average GOP voter. This is beyond partisan politics now.

It's not even an equal footing.  He's taking Putin's word ahead of that of the U.S. intel agencies, and also the Senate Intel committee.

Well.

I guess all I can say is that press conference was another thing to toss onto the "Not surprising, but still horrifying" pile.

Hopefully someday we'll have a president who actually is loyal to our country again, but that isn't what we have right now.

Trump is a weak cuck who is getting spanked by daddy Putin, but we already knew that anyway. Can't his advisors just write a few reports about Russian gas? Because that seems like the only thing which might get Trump to become tougher on Russia.

I mean, what exactly? I though Flake was quite tough on Trump and the Russia probe. It's not like voting against Trump's tax cuts and/or deregulation laws will bring us closer to the truth on the Russian collusion.

The sad part is that fewer and fewer Republicans are calling Trump out on his treason, and have adopted his moral relativity....

Flake and Corker could shutdown the entire senate if they wanted to. Hell, they can even derail Trump's SC nominee if they wanted to.
