Include every loser you can remember.  All the way down to county/city council.

Suprisingly I have only voted for two losers in my short career (been voting since 2002).

2004 Presidential Primary:  John Edwards
2004 General Election:  John Kerry

too many to remember, much less list, as I've been voting since 1986, but my favorite loser was a candidate for Governor in a special election of October 2003.  The winner, of course, was Schwarzenegger.  But the guy I voted for came in 13th.  Many of my losers have come in 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th once.  But 13th is impressive.  Taken another way, though, he did come in 13th out of 162, so that's top ten percent.  I think it's the only time my guy was in the top ten percent of vote-getters but still lost.

I've only voted once in the 2005 primaries.  I cast a write-in vote for my Latin teacher for school board.  I also wrote-in the Republican candidate for tax collector, though she did win the Republican nomination, not the Democratic one.

It'd be really impressive if you'd voted for the guy in last place. That's pretty hard to do when there are 135 candidates. Todd Richard Lewis still got 192 votes.

school board 03 again I forgot his name but I he sounded like a good candidate he attacked the school board for spending 1.1 million to returf the football field during a budget crisis which was way more than was necessary.

several city commissioner candidates

this is all I can remember

For me, the best thing about being able to vote for the first time is that I get to vote for myself and it's a guarenteed win. I doubt anyone else besides myself and my other committeeman will be running for one of the two spots.  Smiley

PA Atty General Jim Eisenhower (D)

2004 Primary-

PA 13 Congress- Joe Torsella (D)

2003 General-
