Bad news for Cagle, better news for Stacey Abrams.

Sure it's an internal but recent polling is showing a very tight race all around, and if Kemp is doing so well among voters who have heard of Cagle's scandals and those stories continue to grow (which they certainly will) then, well, goodbye Cagle.

That's what I was thinking to myself. This is a Kemp internal, but the runoff polls have been showing a tight race. I think I'm leaning towards Cagle as the candidate that Abrams should want to face for the general.

Wow, the Georgia GOP is really going to blow it.

Moderates are going to go for Abrams in the general.

Interesting that they break up the ideologies of the electorate. Can't believe Kemp is only leading by 12 in the conservative category. Anyway, the GAGOP is so screwed no matter what, and Abrams has an excellent opportunity. Though she needs 50%+1, with how close the primary was between the parties, I think Abrams can clear the mark.

Yeah, its a weird dynamic for sure. The moderate candidate is positioning himself as a gun-lovin conservative, while the more conservative Lt. Gov is trying for a moderate and establishment campaign. Either way, I doubt most voters know this, which is why Im surprised. I guess I shouldnt doubt voters too much.

Seeing you root for Casey Cagle is not something I would have expected a few months ago. Smiley
