I noticed that there were several threads in the vein of "Describe an Eisenhower-Kennedy-Goldwater-Humphrey-Schmitz voter" on this board, so I decided to make a thread for them.

In other news, describe an Eisenhower-Kennedy-Goldwater-Humphrey-Schmitz voter.

A deficit hawk who may well have voted for Ron Paul in 1988. Voted for Bush in 2000 as a "fresh face"; lost his job in 2004 and took it out on the GOP. Didn't trust Obama at first but thought he did a decent job. Didn't trust Hillary Clinton.

Gore - Kerry - McCain - Obama - Clinton

Interesting. Probably initially a white southern Dem who voted for Carter/Carter/Regan/Bush/Clinton/Clinton prior. Moderate.

Don't know why they voted for McCain? Maybe a little bit of racism?

Voting for Obama in 2012 and Hillary in 2016 tells me this person liberalized a lot and was disgusted by  Trump.

McGovern–Carter–Anderson–Reagan–Paul–Gritz–Perot–Nader–Nader–McKinney–Johnson–Trump

Populist leftist who takes pride in being anti-establishment by voting third party but will occasionally vote for "outsider" major party candidates or for the winner in national landslides (Reagan 84)

Describe a Duke 91-Obama 08-Trump 16-Democrat 20 voter?

Racist old person in rural Louisiana who voted for Obama in 2008 just to "prove" they aren't racist, but found it too hard and became an alt-righter in 2016. Will vote Democrat in 2020 to "punish" Trump for not being hardcore enough.

Describe:

Dole 96 - Bush 00 - Bush 04 - Obama 08 - Romney 12 - Rubio 16 (sat out general election)
