A Brief Statement of the Fate of Victor Amadeus III and The Lesser Demons in His Service

“I will not waste the people’s time by recounting the circumstances that brought about the recent and fortuitous events which have led to the establishment of this proud, Catholic republic.  The people already know that story all too well.  They have tasted the bitter, rotting fruit of oppression.  They have starved in the streets while the false king Victor Amadeus III mocked Christ with one side of his mouth and spat upon every principle of good governance with the other.  

What could we hope to teach about sacrifice to an impoverished mother who goes hungry so that her young child may eat that she does not already know?  Ask the worker who owns none of the means of production and yet toils beneath the yoke of exploitation about greed.  He’ll tell you all about the corruption and cruelty of the false king Victor Amadeus III.  Yes, the people know better than anyone the truth behind the black villainy and hedonistic heresy of that most infamous fiend.  The so-called king Victor Amadeus III was little more than a charlatan with delusions of grandeur claiming a divine right that he did not possess, not least of which because he was no different than the money lenders in the temple.  Not a man, in truth, but a beast in human skin content to fiddle like the Pagan Emperor Nero while the people suffered.  A devil who dared call himself divine!

I do not say that every Piedmontian nobleman in service to this vile fiend was a servile sycophant simpering for scraps from the table of a delusional dilettante destined for despotism.  Some, I assume, are good people.  I only wish those that are would do more to make their presence known.  I should have rather liked to have met one.  

It must be said that the possibility exists for a more enlightened breed of nobility when those men are truly guided by Christ.  One can only assume that it was His divine hand which guided the Venetians toward that most divine form of government: the republic.  In Portugal, we have even seen nobility embrace radical ideas that – whatever merits they may or may not have – one would seldom think to ascribe to nobles.  Most importantly, this class produced The Pope himself.  One must take care to acknowledge such nuances, inconvenient though they may be for those who would see the rivers run red with the blood of the guilty and innocent in equal measure.  Justice is balance, after all.

And yet as is so oft the case, the Piedmontian nobility were overthrown because the mad fools – each seeing a Midas in the making where good Christians see our reflections – cast aside the cross and chose instead to worship at the alter of Mammon.  The people in their wisdom, guided by the divine hand of our Lord, cast off the atheistic shackles of oppression and cry out for a Catholic republic.  

While the two most important distinctions which may exist within a society are, to be sure, religion and economic class, we must be still be just.  The Piedmontese nobility who served the false king shall be tried for their crimes against the Piedmontian people.  Those who are convicted by a jury of twelve at the conclusion of a fair trial will be punished not for their economic class or family name, but for their crimes against the Piedmontian people.  Enlightened nobles such as the Pope may take comfort in this fact; this shall not be an indiscriminate mob, but a just and orderly process.  This policy shall only apply to those nobles who served the false king Victor Amadeus III.  

However, I have always condemned torture in the harshest of terms like every good Christian and would not see even my worst enemies flogged or tarred.  That is not justice; it is vengeance. With the new Catholic republic, there shall be a new and far more civilized means of speedy execution.  Those convicted shall be given over to the loving embrace of the guillotine and the national razor will shave their necks clean.  Their estates shall be sold and the profits used to feed the poor and middle class.    

And what of the false king Victor Amadeus III?  Christ commands us to be merciful and merciful we shall be, for are we not a Catholic republic?  The false king shall be given two options.  He may abandon all titles, lands, claims, and incomes and then – with a proper escort until the deed is done – immediately enter the priesthood for the rest of his days.  In that way, he may yet atone for his sins and one day see the kingdom of heaven.  No truly penitent soul, not even that of the false king, is beneath the mercy of Christ who died for our sins.  Alternatively, if the false king believes himself so great that a life spent in the service of our God in heaven is beneath him, he shall find his neck as been shaved razor clean by the guillotine.  

We must put the question to the false king Victor Amadeus III.  Shall he repent and live a simple, unassuming life in the service of God?  Or is he a man so black of heart that he would rather become a king of Hell than kneel before Christ in the kingdom of heaven?  The choice is the false king’s and his alone.  May God have mercy upon his soul, for if he chooses poorly, the people will surely have none.  

In the days ahead, I shall give several more speeches covering the Piedmontian school of foreign policy, the rights and principles of our great Catholic Republic, a treatise on our national philosophy of Catholic Republicanism, and a few remarks about slavery.  Thank you, may God guide our dear Pope in his divine wisdom, and may He watch over us all during these early days of our Catholic Republic.”

A Few Humble Words:

I have been deep in prayer of late and am pleased to say that God in heaven hath in his divine wisdom made four things plain:

1) The nobles are to be granted the same Christian mercy as the false king they served.  If convicted, these lesser demons shall be given the choice between the simple, humble life of the priesthood or death.  

2) The Catholic Republic of Sardinia-Piedmont shall humbly ask that The Pope, in his most divine wisdom, grant our Catholic Republic a Papal decree of protection and provide the Holy See's sanction for the establishment of our proud Catholic Republic.

3) Other nations have demanded that we swear to confine the people's revolution to Piedmontian borders.  They ask the wrong man for there is not a soul in the Sardinian-Piedmont with this power.  Any ruler who has been just, Catholic, and honest shall have little and less to fear from their people.  However, the crooked, corrupt, and cruel men who reject our Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sins on the cross, had best pray to God in heaven, for he not I is the only one who can save them.  One way or another, each nation's people shall render their verdict. That reckoning comes not by my hand, but by God's for it is but the wage each European government's policies pay.  The judgement day comes for us all and only the wicked need fear the people's verdict for it shall be guided by the divine hand of God.

4) Any so-called slave who converts to Catholicism, the one true faith, and accepts Christ as his Lord and Savior must be given his freedom.  Such a man must be welcomed as one of our brothers in Christ.  Of course, such people must immediately receive a proper Catholic education at a mission or Church-run school to ensure they have been fully civilized.  This extends to the uncivilized peoples of the world as well for it is our Christian duty, neigh the Christian man's burden, to bring such races and tribes out of darkness of Godless savagery and into the light of Christian civilization.

Venice may be aligned with Sardinia-Piedmont, but we, like all other powers, view the summary execution of the former royal family and the rise in radicalism with dismay. All people are entitled to trial, and the former King and Queen are no different than anyone else in this world.

Should Sardinia-Piedmont seek to export this brand of radical, rather than reformist republicanism, Venice will have no choice but to oppose it. We may be friends with this nation, but friends need to tell hard truths to each other, feelings be damned.

"The Holy People's Republic of Sardinia-Piedmont would like to remind our Venetian friends that the so-called king and queen had a trial and were given every opportunity to defend themselves.  The false king you speak of chose not to defend himself, likely because he knew his black and wretched crimes were indefensible.  By the admission of countless so-called nobles and even the man's own son, the vile savage was a devil-worshiper who practiced witchcraft, practiced satanic rituals, and even sought – along with the witch to whom he was wed – to bring the anti-Christ into the world.  Indeed, all this king of Hell, this Lucifer in the flesh, did prior to his execution was send forth a fiery eruption of Hellfire and brimstone straight from the depths of Hell using blood magic.  The infamous fiend is believed to have sacrificed the life of his youngest son to the devil in a last-ditch attempt to smite Europe with a new wave of famine.  And yet, now as ever, the faithful can sleep soundly, secure in the knowledge that Christ will guide us out of the darkness and into the light.  

Through faith in Him, we shall overcome any obstacle Satan's servants attempt to set in our way.  I would advise our Venetian friends and all of our Catholic brothers in Christ who truly place their faith in The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit to look to their sins and pray for God's forgiveness.  Christ died on the cross for our sins, but we must accept him into our hearts as our Lord and Savior without question or doubt.  The Lord's judgement cometh for us all and soon.  If our Venetian friends are truly the holy, Christian men they claim to be then they would do well to remember this.  Even now, righteous men across The Holy People's Republic have formed brigades dedicated to rooting out corruption, wickedness, and blasphemy from the land.  The good people of Genoa have thrown off the oppressive yolk of tyrannical elites and seized control of the means of production from the fat, corrupt "nobles."  The armies of Hell cannot help but crumble in the face of even one truly righteous man with faith as his shield and sword.

"The tragic events of this year have left a dark cloud of sulfur over Europe.  In The Holy People's Republic of Sardinia-Piedmont, the people have broken free from the Satanic shackles of slavery and dealt the devil a crushing blow by ridding the world of the false king Victor Amadeus – a man who, according to the testimony of his own son, fornicated with a sow in an attempt to bring the anti-Christ into the world – and the witch he wed.  The heretical heir to their throne of Mammon was decapitated like any other serpent along with those nobles in service to these Beelzebubian barbarians who would not renounce Satan, accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, and confess to their sacrilegious crimes.  Thy Lord's will was done when the people placed their faith in Him rather than the golden coins that are the only God worshiped by the so-called kings and queens who dance like puppets on Satan's string.  

In Genoa, the Devil's servants were clever enough to call themselves a 'republic' even as these so-called 'nobles' continued to deny the workers control of the means of production, drank the blood of Catholic babes like the Lucifer of London, George II of England who – according to Pope Benedict XIV himself – would regularly snatch the Catholic infants of the Irish countryside from their mother's breasts and bake them into meat pies.  No doubt, the Paganistic Protestants presiding over England today have continued this barbaric practice.  They and all others who have worked to drive Catholicism from Ireland that it may once more be home to Satan's serpents while making false claims of "tolerance" had best remember that His judgment cometh and soon.  

We must all pray that the good Catholic people of Ireland throw of the heretical yolk of Protestant oppression just as the courageous people of Genoa have done.  I want to also reiterate how pleased I am to welcome the Genoan people into the Holy People's Republic.  They did not succumb to the Devil whispering in their ear; Satan could not lead them astray with Mammon or talk of women's suffrage.  Instead, they stayed true to the path He has laid out for us all and the Lord was indeed their shepherd.

I hereby call upon any monarch who would make even a mere pretense of enlightenment and show himself to have faith in Christ to publicly condemn the British occupation of Ireland and do everything in his nation's power to liberate of brothers in Christ from the shackles of British oppression.  We must drive these English serpents from Ireland once more.  Should any Catholic leader fail to support the struggle of his brothers in Christ, then all of European Christiandom shall know him for what he truly is...

Furthermore, I am quite certain The Pope will issue a powerful statement in support of an Irish rebellion.  After all, surely, The Holy See would never let a Protestant nation bully it into silence while innocent Catholics suffered the tyranny of Protestant oppression.  I trust His Holiness would not be intimidated by the threat of British military force nor turn a blind eye upon hearing the jangling of gold coins in English pockets.  Let him show the world that The Holy See does not fear the Protestant scourge by joining The Holy People's Republic in a public call for Catholics in Ireland to reclaim their nation.  

And yet, I fear there is reason to fear that not all Catholic nations may heed this call.  I have here in my hand a list of 57 nobles, so-called, who are known Devil-worshipers.  These practitioners of witchcraft and blood magic have worked to infiltrate the highest levels of governments from Vienna to Paris, from Madrid to Rome.  I do not say these lands are all ruled by corrupt men, but the scourge of secret Satanism is liked a disease which must not be allowed to spread any further.  No doubt there are countless other heretics and witches lurking amongst us even now.  I shall do all I can to drive Lucifer from our European paradise just as St. Michael did so many years ago, but we must all do our part to win the war against Satanism.

I urge all Catholics to report any and all suspicious activity to the nearest Priest and if you fear he may prove unresponsive or that his response may be inadequate, pray on the matter further.  The Lord shall guide you and He shall tell you whether to take matters into your own hands by cutting away the infection yourself.  In light of these dangerous times, I call upon The Pope to issue an immediate public statement encouraging European Christiandom to be vigilant in reporting, purging, and rooting out secret Satanists within there community.  I'm certainly not suggesting that a failure to do so on The Pope's part would suggest possible corruption, hidden Satanic sympathies, or cowardice in the face of the armies of Hell, perish the thought.  Yet some people do say such things and I think it best that His Holiness set the minds of the faithful at ease by publicly endorsing my remarks and confirming for the record what all good Catholics know to be true.  

Naturally, these servants of Satan must be given fair trials just as that infamous fiend Victor Amadeus was given a fair trial, but as a man of faith, I know His will shall be done at every trial's conclusion for though I walk in the valley of darkness, I shall fear no evil.  The Savonarola Brigades have proven that it only takes one righteous man to break Satan's grip upon that man's community.  Blessed be He, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost." - Pietro Verri

As I have previously made clear, I am disturbed by the reports out of Piedmont. The "trials" and other violence currently being perpetuated by the agitated mobs should worry every head of state. I have contemplated an appropriate response since the crisis began and have only now, after deep thought and consultation with the Papacy, come to a conclusion.

Isolating and fighting the Piedmont government serves only to exaggerate its darkest tendencies and reinforce the paranoia of its people. It is only by bringing Piedmont into the light of recognition and normal relations that their impulsive and violent attitudes will sober into cool rationality. As a first step towards showing the people of Piedmont that we mean them no harm and would wish only for peaceful co-existence, I can hereby announce an accord with Piedmont that has been approved by His Holiness.

A Brief Statement Concerning Recent Events in the Italian Peninsula:

"It is with a heavy heart that I speak of a recently departed servant of Christ, the late Pope Adrian VII.  The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.  Indeed, it feels as though it were mere minutes ago that our Father in heaven – in His eternal wisdom – called his faithful servant home.  And yet, Lucifer's liars – that infamous jackal pack who would never waste a crisis that might grant them a chance to pit one brother in Christ against another – have seized upon the late Pope's passing and spread the most insidious lies ever conceived.  

These wicked heathens claim that the Holy People's Republic "invaded" the Papal States in a petty political political power grab and yet even a blind man could see that nothing could be further from the truth.  They say that we "invaded" the Papal States and yet it was the late Pope Adrian VII himself who not only invited our armies to the Papal States to help root out the corruption which had taken hold in the Vatican, but proclaimed in an official, irrevocable, and irreversible Papal decree that our Father in heaven hath willed a holy union between the former Papal States and the Holy People's Republic to last without interruption from now until the rapture.  We are but the faithful servants of Christ, carrying out His will and He hath decreed through his humble and recently departed servant, the late Pope Adrian VII, that the former Papal States are to be a part of the Holy People's Republic from now until the rapture.  Thus, they shall remain so until the rapture for it is His will that this be so and never change, regardless of any erroneous future interpretations of His will – be they the result of malicious malevolence or mere misinterpretations – that may emerge in the future.

Upon Pope Adrien VII's tragic death, Pope Benedict XVII was duly and legitimately elected Pope.  However, not all cardinals could be present for this conclave and while the Church must needs have a Pope at all times.  However, Pope Benedict XVII has informed me that He hath willed that there be holding a new Papal Conclave held in the Vatican to elect a permanent replacement for Pope Adrien VII.  Pope Benedict XVII has informed me that he shall temporarily step down as Pope exactly one minute before the conclave is to begin so that the second conclave may be held and Pope Benedict XVII may stand for election once more.  While He hath willed that the conclave be held, Pope Benedict XVII's election was no less legitimate.  However, the Lord works in mysterious ways and we must all trust in Him without one shred of doubt.  Naturally, all cardinals who were not present for the initial conclave shall be immediately summoned to the Vatican to perform one of their most sacred and important duties.  If some other nation should attempt to hold a false conclave, I trust European Christendom shall see such a fiendish act for precisely what it is: a blatant and shameless power-grab by a mad king seeking to put the Papal seal in the hands of a servant of Satan.  

In accordance with His will, while the Vatican shall become an independent city administered by the Church upon the election of Pope Adrien VII's permanent successor while the remainder of the lands formerly known as the Papal States shall remain a part of the Holy People's Republic.  

And of course, there are some in the Holy People's Republic – ruthless reactionaries compelled by Mammon to seek a return to the dark days of the false king and Beelzebubian bearers of false witness who act the humble servant of Christ whilst conspiring with reactionaries blasphemers at the first opportunity – who seek to implement a coup and bring an end to the Holy People's Republic before we complete our quest to break Satan's grip upon Europe by exterminating the tyranny of monarchical rule.  Indeed, our victories have already been so great and numerous that Satanist infiltrators in cities from Madrid to Paris, from Venice to Vienna oft tremble in their boots at the sight of this righteous revolt of European Christendom against the terrible tyranny.  There shall be new trials and all of these traitors shall be given the same choice as the servants of Satan from within the ranks of the false king's regime: confess and accept Christ into their hearts as their Lord and Savior or be beheaded publicly that all may see the wages such treachery pays.  

And yet, there are other enemies of Christ who would rob European Christendom of her maidenhood in the dead of night.  We offer our condolences to the new Spanish king concerning the death of his father at the hands of English assassins; would that he had headed our warning about the Protestant Pagan menace.  Misguided as the late Charles III might be, he was still of the Church and might not have been beyond saving.  Worse, out investigations hath revealed that the so-called ruler of Venice and false King of Naples hath given themselves over entirely to Satan.  There is still much work to be done.  In the name of the Father, the Son, and The Holy Ghost, we ask that our Father in heaven grant us the strength to continue to follow the path set forth by Christ who died on the cross for our sins. - Pietro Verri
