The topic is up, I figure we can keep this one around for discussion, and the game has officially begun! I'll be posting a better explanation about the previous war to help people who want to flash out back stories as people are having fun with that. We are still accepting players as well, especially if someone wants to play beyond the wall

Cool, but make sure to get your house in ASAP

I am NOT required to be BCCed in messages in this game. The turn will end in a week from today, to give everyone time to think and plot. I will likely give a mid turn update if enough people get orders in

I think you have 6 or so points too many; each house member costs costs 1 point.

Spouses are free, but that only applies to Morton here, and yes women count and members of the court are their own pool of points. Sorry I've been trying to get ready for vacation this weekend Smiley

The turn is in full swing; if anyone has questions or if I haven't answered to your liking, let me know. I'll be on vacation with a lot of downtime (though internet could be an issue...) and I'll be sitting around a lot. Trying to work more on the timeline of the previous war as well as get an exact picture of the rest of what is going on in Westeros. House Umber has been added and we are currently accepting new players, though not for long.

Enjoy playing your game of thrones Smiley

Let's start getting any questions in that need answering as we move towards the end of the turn; I'll be taking care of any I currently have soon

A note on weddings: who is hosting and/or paying for them, and how much is spent is a big deal. Large weddings can have sizeable benefits, though there is a diminishing returns scenario after a point.

The turn is now closed; I'm giving until posting of the new turn to complete orders and finish unfinished businesses. We will see an update this weekend, possibly Friday.

I do have a map, but I can tell you you border House Manderly, Stark, and probably Ryswell and Reed.

No one has Flint's Finger nor the land between White Harbor and Bolton, they belong to smaller lords. No high lord owns the land between Dustin and Bolton aka the Kings Road, which doesn't exist.

You guys will be getting a Huge end of turn event as well as a POV. For most of your orders, this will not mean changes. For others, rest assured time will be made next turn as there will be a special mid turn update in regards to this new development. It will affect everyone, but maybe two or three players in particular.

Sorry for any lapses in communication over the last week, rest assured I am now safely home and able to work on the turn. Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy what the dice have lent you guys.

To head off possible questions, I am working on it NOW and expect I will have it written tonight. This should give you something to chew on waiting a day or two for the update. It will require cooperation from numerous players to solve/take advantage of this, and a misstep could very well spell doom for many of the poor souls making their homes in Westeros.

Well I think I did alright.

Yes, you read that right. The King of Mountain and Vale may very well be due North in some short order to talk of trades and gold... and to piss off the edge of the wall maybe. I'll be on mibbit for a short time if anyone has immediate questions. For now Lady Forlorn and Perwyn Corbray are hanging in the North to see how fast the mermaid can swim.

To answer your question Kingpoleon, it could very well go to either. Direct inquiries to yourself, while others to me. The Vale has a separate missive for the Starks after all.

Honestly everyone keeps bungling my potential story arcs by acting in totally unexpected ways lol... but thats just in me not being able to guess people's moves better.

Aye, as I've said, the idea is for me to have to do very little in terms of creating 'drama', which has proven itself so far. It's exciting for me to be surprised and then go "well there goes the seed of that, time to throw some more into the ground and see what grows"

I actually wasn't referring to this situation, more to do with the Bolton/stark accord and something another player did

The phrasing in the books is "widow's watch will follow my lead" or something like that; it gave me rise tothink they were a separate holding. There was a playerwho wanted a super minor house so I let them play out there.

Dear lord this essay lol...

Night's Watch is done. Sorry Stark but I'm moving on from you for now as this one will likely take as long as the others all combined.

I have everyone's end of turn done but Stark, Ryswell, and the Mountain Clans, the latter two I have not received orders from. Dereich I'm sure will have his in.

I'll have to finish the rest at another time I'm afraid, but I plan on getting the topic for the trial up first to lay out our format and give people something to sink their teeth into.
