Very glad France won and many thanks to this great generation of player for bringing us this second title!! Lots of (young) talented players and a great team spirit. After the defeat against Portugal 2 years ago, every one feared a same scenario this year. Yesterday was a big party and today will be the same.

I feel sorry for Croatia, every one talks about the "golden generation" of Belgium but they will still be there in 2 years, while this Croat "golden generation" is much older and it was probably a unique opportunity for them.

Anyway, the riots in Nantes have been going on for a few days now, after a black guy was killed by the police in a housing estate; which hasn't been mentioned on this site, but we didn't mention Adama Traoré either cos this stuff happens pretty regularly in France
