I don't always agree with former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner (D-OHSEN-25)'s politics, but I like her. She stands up for what she believes in, and she speaks important issues such as criminal justice, jobs, healthcare, etc.

She was a crucial Bernie Sanders surrogate in 2016. Can Turner win a future Democratic Party or Green Party presidential nomination?

No for Democratic, Yes for Green. I think she should try for U.S. Congress before President though.

Maybe the Green Party, but her end result wouldn't be great. Bob Barr, Ron Paul, and Cynthia McKinney were three of the 'highest-level' 3rd party candidates and they both performed badly. Only Anderson (out of the former Congressional members running 3rd party) performed decently because he filled a specific niche. I don't know exactly what niche Turner would occupy considering the Democratic Party has really moved left.

The Green Party thrives on spiting the Democrats so Nina Turner could absolutely gain their nomination. She probably pissed off too many Democrats to ever get their nomination, she is also too irrelevant for them.

I really only see her getting the nom as a Green right now. I don't think she'd do well in most situations, but if Democrats are stupid enough to nominate someone like Cuomo or McAulliffe then I see her doing decently well as a Green, maybe getting like, 2-3% of the vote or more.
