Wow, Scott Wagner is one of the worst candidates this cycle even though he made a more civilized impression during the debate with Governor Wolf.

Go Wolf and Fetterman! By the way: Does anyone think John Fetterman runs for governor in four years? I wouldn't be surprised if he does and wins regardless of who sits in the Oval Office.

I'm not sure, but I think he'll run for something in the future, whether it be Gov or Senate. He's that good. And he's been a boon to Wolf's already great re-election campaign.

The fact that the Wolf campaign is sitting on sexual harassment and philandering scandals against Wagner goes to show you how confident they are.

... Apparently Diamond and Silk are campaigning for Wagner in Philly on the 26th... this has to be the most poorly run GOP campaign this cycle-

Fetterman is definitely running for higher office. He ran for Toomey's Senate seat in 2016 and lost in the primary, I bet he enters that race again in 2022.

Jeez, if they're serious about flipping the House and MAYBE even the Senate, why not go for broke and depress turnout to hell with those scandals? Those scandals will go particularly badly in SEPA where it seems almost every competitive seat in the state is.

I wish Dems grew a pair for once. Rs are running ads across the country saying Dems are basically terrorist or sympathize with child predators. No reason to leave stuff like this on the field the same goes with Tim Kaine.

Yes, but it's sad that the GOP is apparantly successful with these smear tactics. If we go high when they go low, it too often doesn't work. What does that say about us as a society?

I'm probably voting for Wolf. Wagner was never a mainstream Republican.  He won his state senate seat on write-ins.

Good call. Wagner winning the special election for his Senate seat was a fluke, and he barely even won the primary this year against some unknown named "Paul Mango".

Reading the early pages of this thread is truly hilarious. It's amusing that Spark thought it was ever a tossup.

“Likely D”.  Sure, pundits, sure.  Please remove your heads from 2016’s posterior, yeah?

I love that this race is shaping up to be between a guy who cracked down on animal abuse vs a guy who wants to walk on peoples' faces with shoe spikes.  Only the Keystone State(and large portions of the South and Plains, but still).   Unamused

I would drop the details with 3-5 days left in the campaign, like the Gore team did in 2000 with Bush's DUI scandal. Voters are complete morons and will forget about the scandal in a week like the Access Hollywood tape.

Scott Wagner's new deplorable sign to smear Wolf and Fetterman (Fetterman recently posted this in Instagram). Wagner is running neck-in-neck with Mr. DeSantis of Florida for the most screwed up Republican candidate this cycle.

I think Kobach and Kemp are probably ahead of DeSantis in terms of craziest GOP gubernatorial nominee.
