Increase tariffs on the chicken nuggets and ban sales of all drinks above 20 ounces
What? Tariffs generally being bad aside, are they sourced from foreign countries? Do you know what tariffs are?
Well that joke went over your head

Yes, for being one of the most overrated companies of all time. Wendys & Arbys are much better.

They should be restricted to breakfast, McRibs, and the McFlurry. Everything else on their menu is garbage.

The Big Mac is horrific. But their chicken tenders and pico guacamole burgers are good, tbf.

You do have to admit that Ronald has to be the whitest of white guys and that the only significant person of color in McDonaldland, Grimace, acts just like a stereotypical dumb happy negro.
But it would seem that most of the characters have been done away with, and that even Ronald himself seems to be losing prominence.
McDonald's no longer goes after the kiddie market like they used to.  They want to encourage customers to go upscale on their orders.  Rather than a large soda, how about a large frappe at twice the price?

I've noticed whenever McDonald's has movie tie-ins or toys obviously aimed at kids, their signs mention some random healthy thing on the menu. Is there some law about marketing food to kids?

Like when the movie Sing was out and they had toys, the sign said something like "Sing it up (in very small text below) with delicious apple slices" on top of the toys being show. And then another toy tie-in it said something about milk.

It seems like a loophole so they can argue they're marketing only healthy food, but is that loophole even needed?

No, you don't have a world where gays can marry and weed is legalized, but you can't buy a cheeseburger at McDonalds. If we're gonna go on full force with allowing "freedom of choice", you have to allow people to have the freedom to go to McDonalds, or the freedom to not go. It's up to them.

What about the freedom of animals to choose to not be killed for food?

Why blame McDs in particular here? If you accept it is inherently moral to kill animals for food, then the entire meat, dairy and egg industry should be eliminated.

No absolutely not.

Why the target of McDonalds? There are other more disgusting fast food places. Hardees is horrendous when it comes to calories.

Anyway Wulfric is too obsessive on this topic. Let's not feed into it.

Trying to ban McDonalds would probably be the only thing that could get Americans politically engaged, lol.

I'm in favor of a compromise.

Ban the Happy Meals, and the sale of all McDonald's products (and products by similar restaurants) to those under 21.

It makes more sense than banning the whole business.

Oh hell no!

So, if I decided to eat one of my parents pet cats tomorrow, wouldn't that cat, as a house pet, valued member of the family, and sentient being have the right not to be eaten?
