I thought Cordray was gonna win in a landslide, but I didn't think it was gonna be this big of a landslide! I thought Kucinich would at least win Cuyahoga.

I thought Cordray would win by high single figures, but as always, when you look back Kucinich had nothing in his favour.

He entered the race ridiculously late, he didn't have enough money to dump millions into the race, he's never ran statewide before, he's a pro-Trumper who appeared on Fox and Cordray is a pretty solid progressive.

Yeah there was no reason beyond knee jerk pessimism or one dimensional "DOWN WITH THA ESTABLISHMENT" thinking to expect a Kucinich victory.

Cordray is a decent progressive. If he was a Cuomo or a Booker I think Kucinich would have done better. Leftists had the opportunity to be pragmatic in this circumstance.
