Hindsight or not?

With hindsight, probably none but Scalia, Rehnquist, and Thomas. Without hindsight, probably all but Ginsburg, and quite possibly Stevens.

Ginsberg is a raw ideologue.  She demanded gender integration of the boy scouts and girl scouts, of the prison system, fraternities and sororities.  She wanted to reduce the age of consent to 12 years old.  She questioned the Constitutionality of aving a seperate day for Mother's Day and Father's Day.  She claimed laws against bigamy are unconstitutional.  She argued for a Constitutional right to prostitution ("...within the zone of privacy protected by recent constitutional decisions").  She also thought the Mann Act, which limits sex trafficking in underage girls was "offensive" and protecting by the same provisions that tprotect prostitution.  She supported conscription of women into the armed services.  She supported efforts to remove non-gender neutral words from the text of the US Code, words like man and woman.  She supported a constitutional right to taxpayers subsidies for abortions.

She is a rabid nutcase, and should never have been confirmed.

I would vote to confirm all of these.  Some of them I have strong disagreements with but I don't think that is enough to deny confirmation.  I would also confirm John Roberts but I would have voted AGAINST Robert Bork and Priscilla Owens.

Thomas, Scalia, Rehnquist, O'Connor, and probably Kennedy, although I've been miffed by some of his decisions lately. Souter is possible. In retrospect, Breyer and Ginsburg I would seriously oppose and vote to not confirm.

She got confirmed 97-3, and Bork couldn't even get a fair hearing?

Incredibly, Bork was even backed by Thurgood Marshall, and the vast majority of judges and academics.

I would confirm all of them, with the exceptions of John Paul Stevens, Stephen Breyer, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Those are the only ones I would have voted to confirm!  Well and probably Souter if I knew he was going to turn out as well as he has.

Everybody bar Thomas, and Thomas is rejected because he doesn't seem at all bright. I would rarely invoke an ideological "litmus" test because whilst I believe my Constitutional views to be correct, we're all great self-kidders, so I won't presume myself to be correct. As long as a nominee can demonstrate some scholarly worth, I would generally vote to confirm, except in some truly extreme examples (this extremity test is not met by any member of the present Court).

I would vote to confirm everyone except Clarence Thomas.  I just don't think he had the experience or displayed the depth of intellect or character to be an good Supreme Court Justice at the time of his confirmation hearing.  The others were all very well-qualified, regardless of ideology.
