I have stayed in this game as a serious player consecutively, longer than anyone else.


Well, if you mean destroy the left we have to accept the reality that this is the internet and there will always be a left in Atlasia. I am running because I believe when stacked up against the Progressive Left, voters will opt for fiscal responsibility over deficits, will opt for entrepreneurship over stagnation, will vote for regional policy making over the centralized bureaucracy and will opt for competition over a gov't run monopoly and will opt for a more welcoming and engaged Atlasia.

The presence of the left gives voters a contrast and since this is a game based on elections, we are better off having them here pushing their ideas, then pushing them out and having a dead game.

I added the last few entries in the debate to the linked list of campaign events for easy access. I am very pleased to see the debate resume. I hope to have my response up later this morning or sometime during the day today.

After much thought and honestly indecisiveness from what I wanted for the next President of Atlasia and who I wanted it to be, and generally positive messages from the other candidates. I've decided to endorse you. Let me start of by saying this isn't a conventional election. The left, the side of the political spectrum I identify most with in game and obviously IRL, is showing signs of life and of breaking the one party rule down the line and normally I would be inclined to vote for a candidate on that end of the political spectrum, but this isn't your average election. We have two former Presidents, one of whom has been playing this game since I was in grade school IRL, with a former PPT, a former President, and someone who has served extensively in all three regions as Vice Presidents. At the end of the day, your record more or less speaks for itself on keeping the game, House, and political party and one I have not seen demonstrated by any other candidates. We may not agree on that many issues, but  I know one thing for sure; Yankee will keep the game from collapsing into a black hole.

I'd point out this isn't really a knock on the other two candidates, whom have to large extent have ran with or supporting candidates I trust, and in a normal two party election would be more inclined to vote for, and would be willing to vote for in the future, pending election.

I thank you for your endorsement and hope that I can live up to the expectations.

As president would you rescind PDD-25?

I would certainly like to review it and possibly make a modification or a change. I am reluctant to move in a direction of greater interventionism, and thus the basic premise is sound but I think its implementation has been flawed and often motivated more by domestic politics than national interests abroad.

TIME FOR CHOOSING!

Distinguished Atlasians,

The campaign that began way earlier than most expected and for some ended later (some were thinking it was last weekend earlier in the month), has finally come to an end. It is now time for you the voters to make your choice of who is best to lead this country. I have staked my campaign on a deep faith both in the voters and in the country as a whole, we face great challenges and the solutions for many of them are not easy, but in all things the path to success leads through the people. I want a game that values people and values their efforts, their creativity and their individuality, that is what strengthens and energizes this place. I want a game that welcomes all and is open to all, regardless of whose clique you are in, whether you joined last month or last decade, whether you are left or right. Everyone who comes here adds value and makes the game better for their presence.

If you the voters opt to me lead you over the next four months. my administration will be constantly striving for ways to engage, involve and energize the people. I will be open to ideas on how to best make this happen and I will be open to working with people from all sides in producing the most engaging administration we have ever had. I have discussed some of these ideas in my campaign and I am sure some new ones will be presented that will further this objective.

I Want to thank all those who have endorsed me for their support so far and I encourage them and everyone to get out to the polls and make your voices heard.
