I see I called the usual suspects out of the woodwork. And the responses where as mediocre as I predicted.

"Appreciate the congrats"

Here's an interesting (and older) piece about Kucinich's transformations and political history. He used to espouse this mix of conservative White Ethnic and populist views.

Holy sh**t. This guy has no interest in responsibly governing. This article has convinced me to support DeWine over him in the GE if it came down to that tbh.

Um, it was pretty well known that he was a Jim Trafficant-like labor Democrat up until he decided to run for President.

What the hell is the deal with some leftists and reactionary governments? It's only occasionally that this seeps into the 'real' public spheres, but online, esp. Reddit's socialism, LSC are obsessed with Assad, Putin, Zakharchenko, etc. My local DSA is fairly bad about it too.

With the fall of the Soviet Union they had to find even more heinous despotisms to fawn over.

Oddly enough, [in my perception] there's also been some growing cynicism among some far-rightists that has led to vague sympathy for the Soviets; at the very least, there are those that would prefer what they imagine Soviet satellites would be like over Islamic radicalism.

I can't believe I used to like him.

I would guess that Kucinich loses the primary, but it isn't certain given that there still a lot of undecideds. It will be interesting, certainly, to see the final results.

I saw a poll today with Cordray at like 30% and Kucinich at 15% with Schiavoni at 7%. Absolutely no idea what happens on Tuesday, but I'm thinking Cordray pulls it off?
