Oh, I guess that might actually make sense. He was talking about legal immigration in his announcement, so presumably he just wants to deport the Dreamers but not get rid of chain migration. If true, he may actually believe the whole "Illegal immigration is bad because it breaks the law and hurts legal immigrants" rather than Trump's "We don't want the Hispanics & Mexicans!"

Trump, in his bombastic rhetoric against both LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration, has muddied the waters of the immigration debate to the point that nearly any criticism of illegal immigration is labelled as being "anti-immigrant" in general. However, Romney is a traditional Republican in the sense of being very pro-legal immigration and very anti-illegal immigration.

I stand corrected.  However, calling Biden a “weak Democrat” and comparing him to Hillary is silly.

Biden is weak and I didn't compare him to Hillary....his record is worse than Hillary. Behind every terrible piece of legislation....chances are Biden voted for it: Iraq war, banking deregulation, Bush bankruptcy reform that created a Millennial slave class, Crime bill of 1994, etc....

Biden is not strong. He is a devout practitioner of the Democratic school of soggy centrism. We don't need anymore weak centrist Democrats who strive for bipartisan with an opposing party whose goal is to destroy their opponents.
