Ducey is probably more likely to lose than Sinema, but I’d rate it Lean R for now.
Yeah....no.

This certainly seems like a candidate for sleeper statewide race of the cycle.

For political purposes, Dems should contest the race due to the unfortunate likelihood that John McCain's seat will require an appointment during the tenure of whoever wins the governorship in 2018.

John McCain won't vacate the seat until 2022, and this race is close due to the closeness of the Senate election.  By 2020, AZ will become a Democratic state and have Daylight Savings time

What? Arizona is going to become a Democratic state in just 2 years?

Which is probably why this firm didn't post any numbers for Garcia vs. Farley. Fact is (and it admittedly took me a while to come around to it myself), Garcia is stronger both in the primary and the GE.

Its trending Democratic now, Flake retired because he was being primaried and didn't want to face Sinema.
