Nixon is Zephyr Teachout on steroids. If Teachout could get 35% of the vote in the primary in 2014, I think Nixon has a legitimate chance here.

Crooked Cuomo really doesn't want Democrats to regain the state Senate:

Vote Nixon

Andrew CUOMO just can't stand it when people enter politics solely off their name recognition:

I wonder if Cuomo will bring back his dad's famous "Vote for Cuomo, Not the Homo" rallying cry from 1977.

I think it's more important for NY progressives to kick out the IDC members, but at this point I'm inclined to support Nixon

Andrew Cuomo was the manager for that campaign. Those posters were his doing.

He wasn't even 20 years old then. It was his father's 1982 gubernatorial campaign he managed.

Huh, I could've sworn I read something at one point attributing that slogan to Andrew Cuomo, but I googled around and can't find anything concrete to back that up. Oops.

I love her. Nixon 2020.

Too liberal for me obviously, though Cuomo is as well, and notably more disingenuously corrupt. Still, I absolutely Flippin love this tweet.

If Cuomo loses the Dem nomination but is nominated for Working Families and/or Women's Equality Party (which is apparently stacked with Cuomo's people), do you think he'd win the general?

Cuomo has done everything in his power to destroy the Working Families Party, so I don't understand why would they throw him a lifeline.

What about the Women's Equality Party? Any New Yorkers here feel like he could get that if Nixon beats him for the Dem nom? And if so, could he win the general on the Women's Equality Party line?

Edit: Cuomo apparently already has the Independence Party line

Cuomo already has the Independence Party’s ballot line, so this conversation is moot regardless.

That's a falsehood.  Andrew Cuomo was a 20 year old college student in 1977.  He managed his father's gubenatorial campaign in 1982.  A different race.
