They inspire me, too, and if they ran for office, I'd support them but for some reason I don't think we'll be seeing "Jesus for Congress" anytime soon.

Instead of inspires, how about motivates?

Not really a surprise, but it is funny that Adolf Hitler inspires you--more or less that you willingly admit that.  Not even Jake will admit that.

On social issues, Jesus would have been a non-judgemental, and tolerant, centrist Smiley; while on economic issues he'd have been a Keynesian Wink

So liberals believe in keeping the status quo with the system? Jesus did not want to destroy Judiasm he wanted his followers to stay faithful to Judiasm.

   ""Blessed are the Peacemakers,
for they shall be called Sons (and Daughters) of God."

                                  --Jesus

"For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
I was a Stranger and you Welcomed me,
I was naked and you clothed me,
I was sick and you visited me,
I was in prison and you came to me.'
Truly, I say to you, as you did it to
one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it to me."

Hmm..... don't quite remember:
"And if ye aren't 'moral' enough for the standards of a few, ye must be quelled by the government."

Anywho, saying "Jesus was a ______" really annoys me. He was neither. Being the son of does not give you political views.
