Man hunted 15 year old girl through Aldi Supermarket gets sentenced to 10.5 years jail.

Crown Prosecutor Matt Le Grand told the Supreme Court the girl suffered hand and torso injuries during a "premeditated and purposeful attack" by Bourke at an Aldi store in Booval.

"She was hunted like an animal around the store" he said.

Bourke's lawyer submitted her client was diagnosed with mild autism and mixed personality disorder

Man steals $20k using magic black box.

The offender had a 'black box' which he claimed could duplicate any cash placed inside. Once plugged in and locked, the box buzzed lightly. He approached 10 businesses with his idea and some of his own real and counterfeit cash.

One retailer thought it was a good idea and subsequently took out $20,000 from his bank account in March 2023 and, under the promise of doubling his money, placed all of the cash into the black box.

The offender told the man to keep the box locked and charged and he would return the next day with the key.

When the offender failed to return the following day, the victim opened the locked box and discovered $20,000 of counterfeit photocopied money in the place of his money.

"The court heard Mongoo climbed the ladder of a loft-style bed and started rubbing the back of an eight-year-old girl inside.

She asked Mongoo who he was and told him to stop because he was scaring her.

Mongoo climbed down the ladder but then went back to the girl, who called for her mother to come help."

On or around 2am on Saturday 27 May, NSW Police received a distress call phoned to 000 from the victim, Tatiana Dokhotaru (pictured below). Police attended the scene 20 hours after the call was made and discovered her deceased.

In Liverpool Local Court on Friday 2 June 2023, Zayat's lawyer argued:

"The complainant is unavailable to give evidence against Mr Zayat,"

(sic) with the complainant being the deceased victim... "That obviously places the prosecution at a disadvantage."

The police prosecutor, Sergeant Wilson, told the court he was concerned Mr Zayat would be able to "interfere with witnesses" if granted bail.

He said the witnesses would testify to "a clear long cycle of violence".

"It was an abusive relationship, a coercive, controlling relationship," he said.

The Magistrate denied Mr Zayat bail.

Zayat family members became incensed in the Court when Danny was denied bail.

"Mr Zayat's supporters could be heard swearing and yelling after he was denied bail, with sheriff's officers intervening...."

A new Australian record for the number of sexual assault charges for one man.

Former massage therapist Sumit Satish Rastogi is accused of 112 offences involving sexual misconduct with clients.

"The 36-year-old today pleaded not guilty in the Adelaide Magistrates Court to 66 of the charges, including rape and indecent assault."

"The charges against him include three counts of rape, 57 counts of indecent assault and 52 counts of indecent filming that date back to October 2021."

Of the 110 charges, he has plead guilty to 44 of them, but plead not guilty to 66 of them.

"After initial reports of his arrest, another four women came forward alleging he had indecently assaulted them."

"The court earlier heard that investigating officers estimated between 150 to 200 women could be identified in over 700 alleged indecent images that were found on his phone."

Now that his identity has been made public, it is expected another 50-100 women may come forward in the case against Rastogi.

One of Australia's top AFL footballers from Richmond FC, Marlion Pickett, remanded in custody over a spate of commercial burglaries.

"Police said they arrested the 31-year-old over his alleged involvement with the burglaries, which occurred between December 2022 and January 2023.

He's been charged with 12 offences, including four counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of stealing, and three counts of criminal damage.

He also faces one count of attempted stealing, and one count of receiving.

Pickett is due in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday for a bail hearing."

Marlion is best known for making his debut at age 27 for Richmond in a winning Grand Final in 2019.

Marlion has a previous history of chemical dependency to crystal methamphetamine, drug dealing and has served jail time for assault and grievous bodily harm and aggravated burglary.

If convicted of the charges, Marlion could face up to 20 years jail. Precedent would suggest a term of between 3-6 years if found guilty.

"An 11-year-old girl from a British family who was shot dead while playing on a swing in her garden in France has been named as Solaine Thornton."

The girl and her eight-year-old sister were playing on a swing as their parents tended the barbecue, when a neighbour began firing at them with a shotgun through a hedge.

Her parents, Adrian and Rachel Thornton, were also hurt and are in hospital.

Her father suffered serious injuries, local media reported."

Indian man, Tarikjot Singh, has plead guilty to her murder.

"The court heard Ms Kaur experienced an "uncommon level of cruelty" after she was abducted by her ex-partner, bound with tape and cable ties, and buried alive while blindfolded and conscious at Death Rock near Hawker in the Flinders Ranges."

"It's not known when her throat was cut, it's not known when or how she got into or was placed into that burial grave and it's not known when that was dug, other than the prosecution says it had to have been while she was still alive and in preparation for her burial."

Gold Coast residents are currently looking for Bowie, a blind dog kidnapped from Southport in Queensland.

Erin Patterson says she "loved" the people who died after eating a meal at her home.(ABC News)
