Hi, just trying to decide how to vote. Where do you stand on foreign policy?

Thanks for the question.

I am neither an avid hawk or dove. I lean towards non-internventionism (as Secretary of State I oversaw the reduction our foreign military bases by 25% and the cessation of arms sales to Saudi Arabia). However, I also believe our military exists for a purpose and do not oppose intervention when its in our interest (as Secretary of State I helped negotiate a war declaration to eliminate N. Korea's WMDs and after negotiations am about to introduce a Senate treaty allowing Malta and Bahamas into NATO).

I try to stay active in foreign policy and work with governments we may not always talk to. I wrote a trade treaty with Mozambique that passed, and have 3 more with other African countries I am about to introduce as Senate treaties. I support stronger infrastructure ties between us and our allies, and after my participation in the Pacific infrastructure conference, I have been tasked with writing a Senate bill allowing us to expand our Pacific air traffic control to assist smaller island countries, in exchange for the placing of satellites, radar, and beacons.

Basically, I am a foreign policy realist who believes in working with other countries while not being opposed to hard policies when necessary.
