The word "marijuana" is racist 🤔

This has motivated me to order everyone to conform to my worldview that non-Italians consuming pizza is an act of cultural appropriation, and that the usage of the term "pizza" by non-Italians is racist as f***. The non-oppressive term is "tomato and cheese pie."

Marijuana however just has the implicit connotation that you are a few Mb short of a Gb.

There's a simple reason why the term "marihuana" was introduced into more common usage in the US by those fighting the drug.  "Hemp"/"cannabis" had long been used for other purposes.  "Cañamo" is the equivalent Spanish term, whereas "marihuana" referred specifically to its use as a drug.
