Tennessee obviously doesn't give a crap if Bredesen is labelled Liberal or whatever since he's still so popular

I would be surprised if these numbers hold, but nevertheless this continues a trend of devastating numbers for Blackburn.

Surely Blackburn/national Republicans realize that they can’t win this race without giving Bredesen the Bayh/Strickland treatment, right? Not a surprise that TN voters (including a lot of so-called moderate “Republicans”) would prefer the good ol' boy over the shrill female any time.

Yeah, this race proves to me that Tennessee hates women to the point they'll vote for a liberal man over one.

He is not a liberal you ninny.

If Bredesen is not a liberal, why is this that he raised taxes close to $1 billion during his time as Governor?

http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/news/story/2010/dec/28/bredesen-tax-legacy-may-be-tough-act-to-follow/37946/

How is this that he proposed coal mining limits?

http://archive.knoxnews.com/business/bredesen-proposes-coal-mining-limits-ep-410234349-359501841.html/

And how is it that the Cato Institute, a fiscally conservative institute, rated him only 53 % on overall fiscal policy score, 57 % on spending and 56 % on taxes?

And if you look at the ISidewith website, Bredesen is pro-choice.

All of this falls more within the parameters of a liberal.

But you’re still ignoring the other things Bredesen did while governor. These few positions/actions that you listed does not make Bredesen “liberal.” That’s like me calling Trump a “moderate” because he was working with the Dems to repeal the debt ceiling.

Actually Trump is called « moderate » because he supported Bill Clinton's assault weapons, was pro-choice and in January 2008  he said « Embrace globalization and international markets »  before he changed his position.

There is little doubt for me that Bredesen is leading now, and if a snap election were held today, he would carry Tn by 2-6 points, but the question remains whether he can hold this lead or not for this fall.

the negative ads against him haven't even started yet, outside money hasn't poured in, perhaps a blackburn-trump rally is in the works - still tilt R

Hang on, hang on. You're seriously saying someone who got a 53% from the motherf***ing CATO institute is a Liberal?
