edit-and factory meat is one of the future things I'm most excited about.  Do you have any idea how great this will be for the environment?  Plus we won't have to slaughter billions of large, thinking mammals anymore.  And it will be cheaper, healthier, more consistently tasting meat.  Win,win, win.  It's all winning.

No, the idea makes me super uncomfortable, but it wouldn't be morally wrong. I think lab grown animal meat is a wonderful thing, and the only ethical way to get meat.

I like to ask my worldly, liberal relatives if they would eat human meat if served as a delicacy by a high-raking official or businessman in a far-flung part of the globe. So far, no one has responded that they would choose to respect the local custom. Sad
