FEBRUARY 2nd 1987

Whille I come here to talk about baseball and to honor me for what I have done I move on to something else my current job.

Since 1981 and since now my reelection as Senator I have been fighting for a progressive future in America.
While I respect President Reagan and have had the honor to work and meet with him throughout his presidency. I do not think his presidency is perfect.  

We still have a crime problem in America and we have a gun problem as well.  We still live in a country where the rich can gain the system and get away with it.  

We still have the threat of unions being slashed and torn apart.
We spend too much on the milltary. We will be in more than a trillion dollars in debt by 1989 if we keep coming up with stuff like the abusrd missle systems Reagan has proposed.  

We still don’t have a system where everyone working Amercian can have good healthcare!!

So it is with my full heart and honor that I declare my run for the Democratic nomination of President Of the United States!!
