While I dont like Gravis, its unwise to underestimate just how good Heitkamp is at retail politics.

If Gravis didn't herd they would've nailed the Alabama results. They also did well in VA Gov. I wouldn't take them too lightly because of this.

As expected, ND is a Toss-Up.

Not bad.
It's not like her opponent is some unknown quantity and has plenty of room to grow.

Republicans won't be picking up senate seats this November like they planned.

But I thought only bold progressives could win in red states?

FWIW, Aaron Booth thinks Cramer needs to have at least a high single digit lead among registered voters (ND has no voter registration, btw) at this point in order to have an even shot at winning. He thinks the race leans strongly D and that Heitkamp’s less vulnerable than McCaskill, Donnelly and even Tester.

By bigger margins yes. Republicans are so toxic at this point that voters would vote for ANYBODY but them.

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if Heitkamp won, but I've never understood why people think she's unbeatable. Polls did underestimate her in 2012, but that doesn't mean that they will in 2018.
