Terrible numbers for Rauner both in primary and in general.
I wonder if he isn't slowly becoming 2018's Tom Corbett.

I hope Ives gets it. This wouldn't be the first time the Republicans in Illinois nominated a reactionary that had no chance in a blue state.

Trump won Illinois during the 2016 primaries and Ives is running a very Trumpian campaign, so I'm hoping she pulls it off.

Interesting note: Ives has spent nearly twice as much on television and radio ads in the Republican primary as Kennedy has in the Democratic one: https://capitolfax.com/2018/02/23/a-look-at-gubernatorial-ad-spending/

Kennedy and Biss combined have been ahead of JB for some time now. Biss ahead of Kennedy is a more recent development.

Part of me wonders if the only people voting for Kennedy are really old Democrats (who where actually around for Kennedy mania), low information voters and maybe some anti-Rahm groups in Chicago?

At first I forgot that Ives was a Republican and I thought Rauner was leading by 20 points.

Lean Democratic, he campaigned on Quinn's partisanship from Chicago and couldn't bring bipartisanship back to Springfield; instead, of creating jobs, he cut foodstamps and Medicaid. So, out he goes.

Kennedy needs to drop out to allow Biss winning against shady Pritzker.

I'm afraid Bruce Rauner is sadly going to be a version of Tom Corbett 2014, as Landslide Lyndon already mentioned. Only difference is that Wolf is a decent guy while Pritzker is certainly not.
