Pretty good, close to what the Jedi should be, but some 1990's-style weirdness. Like the poison that turns Ulic to the dark side.

The problem with the poison is that the story went on to act like Ulic's turn was a choice. Either have the poison and treat him like a victim of possession or don't have the poison.
