Now:

1. Green Bay Packers
2. St. Louis Cardinals
3. North Carolina Tar Heels

All-time
1. 2011-2015 Miami Heat
I've never hated a sports team or much of anything as much as I hated Pat Riley's attempt to buy a bunch of championships. Strangely enough, one of the few players I didn't hate on that team was LeBron James.

2. 2008-Present Green Bay Packers
I assume this needs no explanation given my home state.
3. 2006-Present St. Louis Cardinals
I also assume this needs no explanation, but also, the Cards fans I've met ruined that team for me forever.
4. 2005-2010 Minnesota Twins
Always there to keep the White Sox out of the playoffs, nearly every single year.
5. 2004-Present North Carolina Tar Heels (men's basketball only)
A dynasty of hate was born after my Illini got screwed out of a national championship game against UNC in 2004. Some of the biggest cheaters in college sports, and that's saying something. The NCAA even admitted they created fake classes for their athletes to inflate their grades but said they have no jurisdiction to punish them.

You could argue that the current warriors are even worse at that because the Miami Heat were a first round team when Lebron and Bosh signed there while the Warriors were already the best team in the West (and won 73 games) when Durant joined them.

ONE PLAYER.  THE ENTIRE REST OF THE TEAM WAS HOMEGROWN.

We drafted Steph. We drafted Klay. We drafted Draymond.

Now compare that to teams like Houston and the LeBron-era heat who got everyone off of free agency or trades.

It's not even close.

Yeah, other than the Twins, these teams are some of my most hated for the exact same reasons. Especially with how the Illini get further and further away from its kinda-elite past, losing to a known-cheating UNC burns more and more each year.

Preach. Sad  I have confidence in Underwood as the guy who can get us back, but I was a lot more hopeful about this year...

And Miami was only two stars , some role players and they started out in a much worse position

Durant was on the 2nd best team in the West , and would have gone to the finals in 2016 if he didn’t choke in game 6 of WCF. Then despite all this he decides to join the team that beat him.

An equivalent comparison would be Lebron signing with the Celtics in 2010

Don’t get me wrong , I hated that heat team but not as much as these warriors

I've never seen one of my teams where the whole is so much less than the sum of the parts. I was lucky enough to sit in on one of the practices this summer, and it really looked like the team was doing was doing everything you can do to move things in the right direction. Its hard to believe that growing pains would last this late into the season, but maybe we can hope getting this year behind us and adding Ayo will finally turn the tides.

Feyenoord, ADO Den Haag, FC Utrecht, Germany and Portugal.

Dishonorable mentions for all the sh**t teams that beat Ajax in the qualifying rounds for the Champions League over the years, for AZ, for Juventus, and for the Belgian football team now that they put us to shame (though it's more complicated: a love-hate relationship).
