Hillary Clinton debate answers
1st Democratic Debate:

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
“Thank you for having me here! This is the opportunity of a lifetime. I’ve been dreaming of this day since I was a child. God finally blessed me with this opportunity. I am running for one major reason: to be a president for every American. To show all Americans, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, income, that we care. Americans are struggling under president Alexander. I want to bring us together. We are stronger together”
General Questions:

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
“Well, first of all thank you for the question. See, I believe that I can unite the party. I can unite Liberals, Progressives, and Moderates. And we can bring actual progress. My opponents cannot unite this country. Lieberman is basically a Republican. I believe if we can unite the party, we can win”
Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
“Americans, think about this: we have a president who won’t stand up to these countries or address these concerns. President Alexander supports another war, sending our sons and daughters to fight and die. We need a fighter to prevent a war. I am that fighter. I will stand up to these middle eastern leaders. President Alexander has been weak on the world stage. But I won’t. I will fight for america.”
Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
“See, The current administration doesn’t care about the economy. If elected I will introduce new tax plans, new healthcare plans. We will balance the economy. My husband could do it, so can I. We will fight to stabilize the economy and make a suitable Economy for all Americans”
Candidate Specific Questions:
Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
“Yes. Women are able to do the same work as a man. But more importantly, I don’t believe gender should determine ability to lead. It’s about policy and character. Whoever says a woman can’t lead is mistaken.”
Quote

“Americans, I pitch myself as your next president. I want to see our children prosper. And be successful. These other candidates are not able to unite all Americans. I love you all! God Bless and Good Night!”

Senator Kennedy Announcement Speech

Thank you everyone, thank you.

Over 40 years have passed since my father was elected president. He took power in a turbulent time. The future of the economy was uncertain. The nation was divided among racial lines. The threat of nuclear annihilation hung over the head of millions of Americans. Despite all this, my father wanted to be president because he believed, at the core of his heart, that we as a nation could do better.

That simple idea is why I got into public service. We have an economy that favors the rich over the working class. Millions of Americans struggle to get by, while our President continues to support the business elite. Education is becoming less and less affordable, while also becoming  more and more important. Our healthcare system lags behind the rest of the world. It’s been five years since the Columbine shooting, and we still lack a comprehensive gun control plan. All the while, we face threats from abroad unlike any we have ever contended with. All of you saw the Towers fall. All of you felt the confusion and the fear when President Alexander declared the War on Terror. When I walked the streets of New York City, I saw it on the faces of every person on every street corner. The uncertainty weighed on us, but we didn’t let it stop us. We banded together, we rallied, and we came out of that tragedy a more united nation. That is the beauty of this country, when we face tragedy, we don’t let it divide us.

But what is truly important is making sure such a tragedy never happens again. To do that, we need stronger leadership. We need a commander and chief who has faced such tragedy head on, and we need a leader who wants to help people, not corporations. That’s why I’m running to be your next president.  As your president, I’ll work to build a broad coalition to combat terrorism. I’ll decrease unemployment by punishing outsourcers. I’ll build an economy that lifts millions out of poverty. I’m running, because we as a nation can do better. Thank you all!

Schedule and endorsements will be out later tonight.

Fmr. Gov. Dean

Opening Remarks
"Thank you, my fellow Americans! It's an honor to be here tonight! I am extremely proud that you all have selected me to be your champion, the champion of the young, the old, the middle class, the working class, all races and creeds, thank you! I am here to ensure that every one of our children has access to a quality education, affordable healthcare, and a decent life in this country. I'm here to continue the commitment that we, the government of the United States, promises to its citizens: a world where anyone, regardless of their circumstances, can rise and succeed!"

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
"I think the biggest problem we have on our hands, is that people are starting to think that we, the Democratic party, don't care about them, and that couldn't be further from the truth. There are two things we can do to fix this. Number One: In my campaign, I'm using a fifty-state strategy, because the concerns of all Americans deserve to be heard, not just the ones from California, or Iowa, or New York. That's how we get situations like West Virginia, where Vice President Gore thought it was in the bag, and one of the most Democratic states in the union flipped hard for Alexander. And let me tell you, if I'm the nominee, I'll do my best to flip it back. We also need to come back to our working and middle-class roots. I believe we must enter a new era for the Democratic Party—not one where we join Republicans and aim simply to limit the damage they inflict on working families. … I call now for a new era, in which we rewrite our Social Contract. We need to provide certain basic guarantees to all those who are working hard to fulfill the promise of America."

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
"To secure stability across the Middle East, above all, we need to work with the legitimate, democracy-supporting governments that ARE there to ensure peace, and prevent hardcore fundamentalist movements from taking hold. We've passed the time for pulling out, now, we need to make sure that when we do leave, we're leaving behind a stable democracy. I think we're going to have to use troops and keep some of our men and women there, but we need to bring in the soldiers of other Muslim nations, because this has to be an international reconstruction effort."

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
"The president of the United States can’t balance a budget. We’ve not had one Republican president in 34 years balance the budget. They did it in the Eighties with their reckless defense spending, and wouldn't you know it, they're doing it again now! You can’t trust right-wing Republicans with your money. You ought to hire somebody who has balanced a budget, and my record in Vermont proves exactly that. The Dean administration turned Vermont's budget around because, yes, we slashed spending, but we also knew that we couldn't make all these ridiculous promises like massive tax breaks for people that don't need it!"

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
"I know, I get it. I get a little excited sometimes, and I might be too plain-spoken for some of the higher-ups. But I wouldn't say that makes me "unpresidential", not in the slightest. I believe that I am a man who can connect with Americans of all classes and creeds, and if I'm well-liked by everyday Americans who have to work for a living, then I fail to see how that's a bad thing! At the core of what makes one "presidential" is a willingness to stand up for what they believe in, and a desire to help their countrymen, something which isn't reflected in the Alexander Administration, which would rather hand over profits to multinationals than help the average citizen."

Closing Statements
"Once again, thank you for having me here, people of America! Thank you for believing in our cause so strongly that we've made it this far! Come next January, I hope to see you out there, voting for what we believe in: a future where every American can prosper!"

Hillary campaign schedule
Hillary Clinton spent the entire month in Iowa, giving speeches, holding rallies, and meeting with voters. She spoke a lot about women’s rights and legalizing gay marriage. She also spoke about farm subsidies and religious freedom after attending some church dinners. She even Led a prayer at a few. At the end of the month, she went back to Arkansas and rested
