Only one more Rep left to Sign-up for the game to start. Write an announcement speech for it

So, asking real quick, should I just go ahead and begin the game or should we wait for one more Republican player?

If not another Republican joins within a few hours, Game will start. To McCain, Feingold, and Lieberman, post your Announcement speeches so I can get a feel for you in the first turn.

How is Hillary doing in the polls right now?

Considering that as of right now, the only thing she has going for her was being first lady, she's behind Leiberman (the Front-runner) by  12 points, behind Dean by 6 points, and ahead of Feingold by 3 points

TURN 2: September, 2003

National Polls:
President Alexander: 49%
Generic Democrat: 40%
Ralph Nader: 6%
Boyd Rice: 3%
Unsure: 2%

News:

- Iraq believed to house WMDs

- Al Qaeda and Taliban leadership stay in Iran

-Nazi Sympathizer Boyd Rice joins presidential race

Democratic Party Primary Polls:
Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT): 30%
Fmr Gov Howard Dean (D-VT): 24%
Fmr 1st Lady Hillary Clinton (D-AR): 18%
Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI): 15%
Undecided: 13%

Title: Fight for Victory

After the disaster of the 2000 Election and the 2002 midterms, the Democratic Party has become a mess with 4 candidates already vying for Party leadership.

As the Front-runner, Senator Joe Leiberman of Connecticut has already gotten a following. Being a former contender as the 2000 running mate of Al Gore, Lieberman now leads a coalition of Moderates and Centrists of the Democratic Party which could carry him to the Nomination if he faces little challenge on the path to Victory.

Following him is Fmr Gov Howard Dean who looks very poised to take the position of Front-runner, as his Announcement speech gave an energy that few other candidates can give and coming off a successful Governorship of Vermont, Howard Dean seems to be the leader of the Progressives so far.

Next is Former 1st Lady Hillary Clinton of Arkansas. Despite Being almost successful in the 2000 New York Senate Democratic Primary, she lost to JFK Jr. Who survived a Plane Crash And won the race. With the only thing behind her being Ex-President Bill Clinton, many still have doubts about her ability to lead.

Finally, at the tail end of the race is Senator Russ Feingold. Despite having a very successful Senateship from Wisconsin so far, he has little name recognition outside of his state. Many do agree that if he can carefully build a coalition and Campaign strongly, he could rise quickly in the Polls.

Republican Party Primary Polls:
Pres. Lamar Alexander (R-TN): 51%
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ): 35%
Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA): 8%
Undecided: 6%

Title: Strong President, Two Challengers:

Despite a Strong Approval Rating, President Lamar Alexander now faces a challenge from the Popular Arizona Senator John McCain and recently elected Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. Having a strong 16 point lead in the primary against McCain, it is possible for Alexander to come out of this unscathed. At the same time, the practically unknown Governor must raise his support to even be considered a contender for the Nomination, while McCain just needs to play to his strengths and Alexander's weaknesses. Still, many experts do believe that Alexander has a giant chance at being nominated and winning Re-election.

You should add this to the election game area since you would probably get more players

Can I be Collin Powell as an Independent?

Wouldn't he make more sense to be a REP, considering his history?
