Ok so I've had some trouble getting motivated to write an in depth TL since my No Scrubs series. I've had two duds. Please pitch me some interesting ideas that I could write. I generally like Post-1980s but I could mess around.

John Edwards, who in this TL doesn't do his Rielle Hunter shenanigans, runs for President in 2008, and wins.

I have an idea : what if George W. Bush won the congressional election in Texas' 19th congressional district over Democrat Kent Hance in 1978?

Fine, Coke Stevenson defeats Johnson and runs in 1952.

Or perhaps 1958 in California goes differently.

Since Mitt Romney is now running for Senate, I think it's the perfect occasion to do a timeline about Mitt Romney : What if Mitt Romney ran for senate in Michigan instead of Massachusetts in 1994? Because I think Romney wouldhave had a better chance towin a senate race in Michigan (where he was born and where his father George was Governor) than in Massachusetts in 1994 since Michigan votes in the right if Massachusetts and since there was no Kennedy running in Michigan. What do you think of it?
